Regarding the proposal of many viewers to strip Huynh Tran Y Nhi of her title, on the evening of 3-8, Lao Lao newspaper had a conversation with Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee - where the Miss World Vietnam 2023 finals will be held - around this issue.

According to Mr. Lam Hai Giang, in the past few days, he himself as well as the local authorities have received information about many spectators requesting to strip Huynh Tran Y Nhi of her title, due to controversial statements.

However, Binh Dinh is only the host place, the local government only supports security, not the contest organizers, so it does not make a decision on this.

"But there is a problem that before information affecting the prestige of the Miss World Vietnam 2023 tournament, the organizers need to report to the local authorities where the final round will take place. Because earlier, during the meetings, Binh Dinh asked the organizers to maintain the prestige of the tournament and ensure compliance with the implementation of all announced projects. Therefore, if the organizers want to work with Binh Dinh for a long time, they must report, but the province does not ask them to report," Giang said.

Recently, Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi attracted the attention of the public when participating in a quick Q&A session with 2 runners-up Dao Thi Hien and Huynh Minh Kien.
