On the morning of June 24, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police said they were investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire at Thuyen Lam Pagoda on Dien Bien Phu Street, Hue City.

According to information from Thanh Nien newspaper, around 9:00 p.m. on June 23, a fire broke out at Thuyen Lam Pagoda (150 Dien Bien Phu, Truong An Ward, Hue City, Thua Thien - Hue). The fire was discovered in the main hall and then broke out violently, with smoke rising sky high.

Dozens of officers, soldiers and many vehicles from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police were quickly dispatched to the scene, coordinating with functional forces to participate in rescue and fire extinguishing work.

When the firefighting force of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police arrived at the scene, the fire broke out very large in the main hall and began to spread to the neighboring buildings. The fire department dispatched dozens of fire engines, but the fire in the main hall broke out so strongly that it took many hours to control the fire.

The Dien Bien Phu route from Au Trieu intersection to Dao Tan was also blocked by authorities to serve firefighting work. By about 11 p.m., the fire was basically controlled. However, because the main hall of Thuyen Lam Pagoda is made of wood, the fire still smoldered, and the fire department had to continuously stay at the scene to control the fire.

Immediately after the fire broke out, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police authorities launched an investigation into the cause of the incident. The cause of the fire is still being clarified.

On June 24, a serious fire occurred at house number 96 Nguyen Phi Y Lan Street (Ward 7, Da Lat City, Lam Dong) causing 3 children to die, very sad.

Initial information said that the children who did not survive included: 1 9-month-old girl, 1 4-year-old boy and 1 6-year-old boy. The children are the children of Ms. Do Thi Tu and Mr. Vong Anh Khoa, from Ninh Thuan.

The initial cause of the fire was determined to be because the children's mother opened the gas stove and went out but forgot to turn off the stove. This carelessness caused a fire to flare up, leading to a tragic fire.

According to information from Da Lat City Police, on the afternoon of June 23, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam's daughter (52 years old), Ms. Dau Thi Tu (29 years old, permanent resident in Dien Chau district, Nghe An) brought her children including: Vong Anh Khoa, Vong Ngoc Bao An, and Vong Minh Anh visited their grandmother and stayed with Mrs. Tam in the house she lived in (behind the main house) to work as hired laborers.

On the morning of June 24, Ms. Tam went to work in someone else's garden, Ms. Tu stayed home to cook breakfast for the children and left her three children in the room, then locked the door to go out to buy milk. Before leaving the room, Ms. Tu turned on the gas stove to cook food for the children, but when she left the room, she forgot to turn off the stove.

At about 9:00 a.m. the same day, the homeowner's family heard the sound of a child crying in Ms. Tam's room and saw a fire coming from there, so they ran out to knock on and break down the door but to no avail. After that, the homeowner's family called everyone to rescue the fire, but because the fire was so large, they could not put it out.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Lam Dong Provincial Police dispatched specialized fire engines and dozens of soldiers to coordinate with local forces to carry out firefighting work. fire, rescue.

After about 30 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished. However, at this time, the children inside the room did not survive.
