On the morning of August 25, Ea Kar District Police, Dak Lak Province, announced that they were temporarily detaining H'Sim Byă (under 18, residing in Ea Dar Commune, Ea Kar District) to investigate the act of robbery.

According to the initial investigation, H'Sim Byă had the idea of committing a robbery because she needed money to spend. The target that the young woman aimed to commit her crime was phone stores.

At around 10:45 a.m. on August 23, H'Sim Byă entered a phone store in Ea Sar commune (Ea Kar district) pretending to buy a phone. Before entering, the young woman had planned to put the key in her motorbike and turn the bike around to make it easier to escape.

At the store, H'Sim Byă pretended to buy an OPPO phone. After the owner showed it to her, the young woman snatched the phone from the other person's hand and ran to her motorbike to escape.

It is worth mentioning that H'Sim Byă climbed onto the motorbike to escape, but no matter how hard she tried to start it, the motorbike still wouldn't start. Faced with the incident, the locals shouted and managed to hold the girl and the evidence to hand over to the police.

Upon receiving the information, Ea Sar Commune Police took H'Sim Byă to the headquarters for questioning. Initially, the young woman claimed to be residing in Ea Dar Commune (Ea Kar District) and due to lack of money, she took the risk. The case was then filed by Ea Sar Commune Police and transferred to the district police for handling according to their authority, Dan Tri newspaper reported.

Also today, Ea Kar District Police said that the unit had just arrested and handed over suspect Nguyen Duy Hoang (36 years old, residing in Cu Ni Commune, Ea Kar District, Dak Lak Province) to Dak Lak Provincial Police to investigate and clarify the act of sending a person to the other world. The victim in the incident was Ms. LTC (42 years old, also residing in Cu Ni Commune, Ea Kar District), reported the Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper.

Initial investigation results show that Nguyen Duy Hoang and Ms. C. are related. Previously, the suspect had feelings for Ms. C. but was rejected. At around 8:00 p.m. on August 24, he saw Ms. C. at a neighbor's house so he called her.

Because Mrs. C. did not return, Hoang became upset and jealous because he thought his crush had feelings for another man, so he took two sharp objects to the neighbor's house. Mrs. C. saw this and took her son home on her motorbike, but was blocked by the suspect and scolded.

At this time, Mrs. C. did not answer Hoang but took out her phone to call. Angry, the suspect "impacted" a shot at Mrs. C., but the blade of the sharp object slipped off the handle and fell to the ground. The woman ran away but was held back by the suspect, wrestled to the ground and "impacted" many times, and died on the spot.

After committing the crime, Hoang hid the tool used to "impact" Ms. C. and fled the scene, according to VnExpress. Upon receiving the report, Ea Kar District Police mobilized more than 30 detectives to search for the suspect. Later, they discovered the suspect hiding in a coffee plantation nearly 2 km from the crime scene.

The officers and soldiers surrounded and searched, and at around 11pm the same day, they arrested Nguyen Duy Hoang. Currently, the authorities are completing and consolidating the case file to handle the subject in accordance with the law.
