85 year old man still wants to "buy flowers", gets caught saying the police "can't do anything"

In China, "buying and selling flowers" is a violation of the law. China has been using many strong measures to suppress and eliminat.e prostitution. During a campaign, a rare incident occurred in Heilongjiang province.

According to the confession, the 85-year-old man said that after he went to the bank to withdraw mone.y, he was noticed by a prostitute on the street. This woman, about 40 years old, saw that the old man seemed approachable, so she followed and started a conversation. She told the old man that she was having a hard time finding a job, and if he was willing to help, she was willing to do anything.

Just as the two were about to "act", the police burst in and caught them red-handed.

It turned out that this was not the first time this woman had been arrested. This was the second time she had been caught red-handed. The first time, the police did not give her a warning or detention, but instead gave her a warning and education. The police considered that this was her first offense and that she was forced to do this due to her difficult economic situation.

However, this time, a neighbor happened to see a suspicious elderly man enter the woman's room and not come out, so he called the police.

At the scene, seeing that the old man was old, the police did not say much, only asked him to quickly get up and get dressed.

Unexpectedly, the old man did not listen and said: "You dare to touch me? I have a heart disease!", "Don't touch me!". This statement of the old man made many people silent.

The police were both frustrated and helpless, but they still helped the old man get dressed. It took the police 15 minutes to get him dressed and another 3 minutes to help him out of bed.

The police then took the woman away. As for the 85-year-old man, due to his ag.e and health, the police could not detain him, but could only demand a fine and notify his son. At this point, the old man felt ashamed and begged the police not to tell his son.

He expressed that he was lonely and could not control himself from the temptation of his physiological needs. He did not want to lose face in front of his children and grandchildren, affecting his reputation as an elderly person, so he asked the police not to inform his family.

At the old man's request, the police saw that this was his first offense and a mino.r case, so they temporarily only gave him a warning and sent him home.

For the above behavior, Chinese law clearly stipulates: the buyer will be imprisoned for 10 to 15 days and can be fined from 5,000 NDT (about 17 million VND).

However, people over 70 years old who buy will not be detained. The law stipulates that people over 70 years old who commit administrative violations, if they deserve to be administratively detained, will not be subject to detention.

The case of an elderly man being arrested while "buying flowers" is not uncommon. According to statistics in China, despite their advanced ag.e, 40% of the elderly still have the need for sexual activity. However, many of them live in loneliness because their other half has passed away.

In addition, this issue is often "sensitive" and difficult to discuss even with the closest people.
