"Thuy rode her motorbike to meet a friend in her hometown. He was on his way home when he had an accident. The accident was only about 2-3km from the house. Everyone in the family was devastated because they didn't think she would die in just an hour. No one believed that such a peaceful hometown scene would witness such a traumatic, mourning scene," he said.

Having known and played closely with Thuy Pham for 4 years, Duc Chien has witnessed many ups and downs in the actress's life. She also experienced a breakdown in her marriage.
