Initially, it was determined that the passenger car was carrying 21 people at the time of the accident. In which, eight victims did not survive and 13 others were injured, the injured victims are being treated at Quang Nam Central General Hospital.

"Based on the dashcam, we determined that passenger cars are traveling at a speed of 67-69 km/h, exceeding the allowed speed. This stretch of road is only allowed to run at a maximum of 60 km/h. In addition, passenger cars carrying more than the allowed number of people," said Colonel Lai.

According to some witnesses present at the scene, the container truck was running in the direction of National Highway 1 down to Tam Hiep port, the passenger car running in the direction of Quang Ngai - Da Nang collided with the side of the container truck and overturned.

The police are taking statements from the driver and related people to investigate the cause of the incident.

After the accident, leaders of the Board of Directors of Quang Nam Provincial Police were also present at the scene to direct the rescue work and investigate the cause of the incident.

The Prime Minister also sent a telegram requesting Quang Nam and related units to quickly investigate and clarify the cause of this serious accident.

As PLO information, at 4 am on the same day, bus 76B-006.60 carried 21 people from Quang Ngai to Da Nang city for medical examination. At the intersection at the same level between DT619 and the road leading to Tam Hiep port (in Tam Hiep commune, Nui Thanh district), the passenger car collided with the BKS 92H-004.33 tractor, causing the passenger car to overturn.

As a result, six people died on the spot, two people did not survive at the hospital. The passengers in the car are being treated at the hospital. At the scene, two vehicles were severely damaged.

I and a few other people tried to crawl out of the car, many people trapped were rushed to help out by people nearby. On the bus, there were two neighbors with me, sitting next to me and listening to people say that they also died on the spot after the accident," Le recalled.

This woman said that until now, she still has not stopped being shocked by the terrible accident, her whole body still hurts.

Lying in the hospital for treatment with a painful wound in the chest area, Ms. Pham Thi Mai (60 years old, from Thanh Khiet village, Nghia Ha commune, Quang Ngai) said: "The car was running for an hour, she was still awake and talking. When she was about 500m away from the accident location, she took a nap, a little later she heard a rumbling. When she opened her eyes, she saw that one of my hands was stuck in the front seat, the car was upside down. The car broke down, there was a lady sitting next to me, I couldn't see it."

At this time, Mrs. Mai crawled out of the broken glass door, when she got out of the car, she saw many dead and seriously injured people lying around. The scene before him was the blood and faint cries of some passengers traveling in the car.

"This morning, I took her to Da Nang for medical examination, on the bus this morning carried more than 20 people," Mrs. Mai run recounted.
