The case of attacking his girlfriend after proposing: 'male lead' has 3 children, not divorced from his wife

Although not yet divorced from his wife, Phan Van Minh (in Kon Tum) had a very romantic proposal to his girlfriend. However, just a few hours later, Minh himself was the suspect in the attack on his girlfriend.

Recently, many people were surprised by the romantic proposal that took place at a restaurant in Da Nang City. The main characters in this proposal were Phan Van Minh (born in 1997, residing in village 2, Tan Lap commune, Kon Ray district, Kon Tum province) and Ms. YH (23 years old, residing in Ngoc Linh commune, Dak Glei district, Kon Tum).

However, few people expected that after just one short night, Minh would be the one to take Ms. H's life, shocking public opinion.

Speaking to the press, Mr. PVT (born in 1975, Minh's biological father) said that when Minh was in 11th grade, he met a girl in Gia Lai through social networks. Minh then dropped out of school and married her. Currently, Minh and his wife have 3 sons, the oldest is in 3rd grade, the next is in 2nd grade and the youngest is 4 years old.

According to Mr. T., after getting married, Minh and his wife moved out to live in their garden in Kon Ray district. Nearly a year later, Minh's small family moved to his wife's hometown.

Since then, Minh has been working as a carpenter, moving from place to place, only returning to visit his parents once in a while. Four years ago, Minh and his wife had a disagreement and separated, so Minh brought his eldest child back to his grandparents to be cared for.

More than a week ago, Minh took his second child to Kon Tum to get a citizen ID card and then left. Unexpectedly, Minh went to Da Nang to cause the incident. Talking about the moment he received the bad news, Mr. PVT said: "Around 2:00 p.m. on October 16, Minh called his mother and told her to ask to see his father before it was too late. When I picked up the phone, my child said he had taken weed killer.

I asked why, Minh said he had harmed someone. I tried to ask where my son was, but Minh did not say. Too worried, I advised him to find the police, the hospital, the nearest place to have his stomach pumped, to calmly resolve anything, the first thing to do was to go to the police and surrender.

"Minh then called back and gave the address of the motel where the incident happened. At that time, I immediately called an acquaintance in Da Nang to come to the motel to verify the information. When I checked the room, I discovered that the girl had died," Mr. T. added.

According to Mr. T., the family knew that Minh knew Ms. H. because Minh brought her home to visit once. Minh only introduced her as his girlfriend, and did not mention anything about marriage. On Facebook, Minh said that he would marry H. someday because he was not divorced yet.

"We really want to go and offer our condolences and apologize to the girl's family, but many people advised us not to go yet. Right now, they are very heartbroken. If something happens, it will be miserable," Mr. T. said sadly.

Previously, on October 14, Phan Van Minh rented a room at the TB motel in front of the Da Nang Central Bus Station (Hoa Minh Ward, Lien Chieu District). Late on October 15, this young man returned to the motel room with Ms. YH. At 10:00 a.m. on October 16, in the motel room, due to emotional conflicts, Minh used 2 cold items to repeatedly touch Ms. H., causing his lover to 'log out' on the spot.

After committing the crime, Minh left the motel, hid in a mountainous area of Dai Hong commune (Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province) and drank weed killer to end his life but failed. A leader of Tan Lap commune said that in 2021, Phan Van Minh stole wood from a resident's house and was sentenced to 9 months in prison by the court. After being released from prison, Minh went to work far away and rarely returned to his hometown.

After nearly 4 hours of receiving information and conducting investigation activities to find the perpetrator, the Criminal Police Department, Da Nang City Police coordinated with professional units and related local police to arrest and take Phan Van Minh to the emergency room and treatment at Bac Quang Nam General Hospital, then transferred him to Da Nang General Hospital for continued treatment.

Based on the health condition of the subject, the Criminal Police Department, Da Nang City Police has issued the above decisions to continue investigating and strictly handling according to the law.
