On March 27, regarding the incident of a young man passing away while working with Long Thanh district police, Dong Nai Provincial Police issued a decision to suspend a Long Thanh district police officer.
Specifically, Dong Nai Provincial Police issued a decision to suspend Captain Thai Thanh Thuong, investigation officer - Deputy Head of the Social Order Crime Investigation Team of Long Thanh District Police. Captain Thuong is the person who directly worked with Mr. VMD (31 years old, from Ninh Binh, temporarily residing in Bien Hoa City), the victim who passed away unexpectedly.
As PLO reported, on the morning of March 22, Mr. D. came to work with the Social Order Crime Investigation Team according to the summons because it was related to an incident that disturbed public order in the district. In the afternoon of the same day, the young man's relatives from Tam Phuoc ward came to Long Thanh district police to pick him up.
When I arrived at Long Thanh district police headquarters around 3:15 p.m., I received a phone call from a police officer calling to inform Mr. D's wife. Go to the headquarters to sign a document related to the victim's medical condition.
"At this time, Mr. Duc's wife told the police that her husband did not have a medical condition, but that during this time he was just having trouble sleeping. After signing the medical certificate, the wife asked about her husband's condition and the police responded. "He was taken to the emergency room at Long Thanh district hospital because during the investigation, he fainted. A while later, the police announced that Mr. Duc's family was being transferred to Cho Ray hospital," Nam Thanh's younger brother said. the young man recounted.
Relatives of Mr. D. Go to Cho Ray hospital and wait outside. At nearly 10 p.m. the same day, the family received information that he had passed away. "However, the family does not know exactly when Mr. Duc died and why he died. Up to now, Long Thanh District Police have not met the family," the victim's younger brother added.
After the victim passed away unexpectedly, the family asked the National Institute of Forensic Medicine to coordinate with Dong Nai province police and Long Thanh district police to examine the body to clarify the cause of the incident. According to Mr. D.'s relatives, a preliminary look from the outside clearly showed that there were many bruises on his body in the chest area, and both thighs were purple and black.
As of today (March 27), the reason Mr. D. His death has been announced, according to the death notice of Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) due to coma after circulatory respiratory arrest following brain damage monitoring after cardiac arrest; acute kidney failure (acute kidney injury); Acute liver failure (acute liver damage), soft tissue damage to the right and left thighs.
A long time ago, a similar incident happened to Mr. D. According to the family of Mr. NXT (40 years old, residing in Nam Sach district, Hai Duong), the victim died unexpectedly after going to Chi Linh City Police to confess.
Previously, there was information that on June 9, 2019, Mr. T. stole property from a family in Chi Linh City - also an acquaintance of T.'s family - with an amount of money and gold worth about 50 million VND.
On the morning of June 13, Mr. T. and his family went to the Chi Linh City Police headquarters to confess. The authorities then took the subject's testimony to clarify the case.
However, at around 8:00 p.m. that same day, Mr. T.'s family was suddenly informed by the police that the victim had left on his own during the interrogation process. When he arrived and saw that Mr. T. had been taken to the morgue of Chi Linh City Medical Center, his family members did not agree with the explanation of the Chi Linh City Police.
As of June 15, Mr. Thang's family had not yet been able to hand over the victim's body to take care of the funeral even though the Institute of Criminal Science of the Ministry of Public Security conducted an autopsy on the afternoon of June 14.
