Approaching the scene, the working group identified 3 bodies located in different locations in the house. The investigative agency identified Phan Danh Hung, the husband of a victim as the number 1 suspect, but this guy hid in the hills of Hon Du.

After reporting to his superiors, Mr. Tuan commanded many reconnaissance missions across the mountains. However, Hon Du mountain is a large area, adjacent to many communes of Dien Khanh and Khanh Vinh districts. In particular, this place also has a primeval old forest with many rocks and rugged terrain. While the force was thin, it was raining continuously, making the search difficult.

At this time, Colonel Nguyen The Hung, Director of the Provincial Public Security, grasped the practical difficulties, so he directed the Criminal Police Department to take charge and mobilize many support forces.

Colonel Nguyen Ba Thanh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security, directly went to the scene, directed to support the working group to make the case. The project committee held an emergency meeting between the hills and mountains. Field camps were set up.

Hundreds of people are police, militia, local authorities ... with many forces mobilized, divided into many times to find suspects. Mobile police and sniffer dogs were brought to assist. Provincial military commands, border guards, forest rangers and many units assigned to protect the forest also participated in the search for clues. Some units also support thermal drones, but all traces are obscure.

The current determination of the working group is to catch Phan Danh Hung. Therefore, whenever there is information to report a suspect, the brothers are mobilized to the place. There is even information that the suspect appeared in Phu Yen, Dak Lak, but when he arrived, he was not the person to look for.

Each group of scouts discovered many watchtowers of people working in the fields. Through information, the owner of the hut confirmed that he had not been to the field for nearly a week, but someone sneaked in to get food to cook.

"I think the suspect is still on the ground, so I plan to continue to surround the scene and the watchtower area," said Colonel Tuan.

Many reconnaissance teams were ordered to go deep into the rugged and wild Hon Du mountain range. Besides, the forest area is surrounded by two layers, outside and inside in the style of "no-inside, no-outside-out". Many people had to dress up, cross the forest, wade through streams to search for traces of the killer. Each person brought water, dry food, both eating and moving, but many days passed, the suspect's identity was still obscure.

The team determined that the suspect would hide in the deep mountains, in the caves. During the day, this guy is afraid of being exposed, so he won't go out, except when hungry. He will appear at night, especially will stay awake to monitor all movements, and only sleep after 3 am.

Therefore, the scouting groups in secret, exploratory and undisclosed search were scouring caves and deserted forests. After 3 am, when the suspect Hung is asleep, the noses will go deep to find and avoid being passive.

On the afternoon of June 6, after the police issued a wanted decision, Hung's identity image, many people returned to the fields to report that the shadow of the suspect appeared on the mountain. However, they only see from afar. At the same time, the locals also confirmed that they had seen the thin man in the deep forest, near the stone pool area, a few kilometers away from the position of the working group.

At about 6:45 p.m. on June 6, a group of policemen, under the direction of the people, approached and surrounded the suspected area where Hung was hiding. Seeing the police figure, Hung immediately rushed down to gather stones more than 5km from the scene to hide. Many police surrounded and controlled Hung.

When he was arrested, he appeared calm, admitting that he had taken the lives of three people. The cause of the handshake with his wife came from a money dispute and suspicion that his wife had an affair with someone else.
