The jury also noted Sudico's willingness to refund more than VND 254 billion out of VND 404 billion that Land Ha Hai paid. Thus, Land Ha Hai got back 254 billion VND deposit. Meanwhile, Sudico got 150 billion dong in the failed sale.

According to the case file, in August 2017, Sudico wanted to transfer 2 land lots with a total area of more than 12 hectares in Hoa Hai new urban area, Ngu Hanh Son district and Land Ha Hai won the price with the amount of 1,810 billion. The two parties signed the contract and Land Ha Hai transferred a total of VND 404 billion to Sudico.

After that, Land Ha Hai discovered that the legality of the 2 land lots still had some problems, so he did not continue to pay.

On August 30, 2018, Sudico issued a notice to unilaterally terminate the contract, declare to cancel the transaction, take full ownership of the pre-ordered amount because it believes that Land Ha Hai violated the contract.

At the first-instance trial lasting 8 days (December 1-8, 2021), the People's Court of Ngu Hanh Son District announced that it accepted Sudico's petition to sue, terminate the land use transfer contract between the two companies and rejected the two companies. requested Sudico to compensate Land Ha Hai for the lengthy transfer process.

Immediately after the Court of First Instance handed down the sentence, Mr. Vo Van Cuong - Director of Land Ha Hai stood up to express his frustration and drank a bottle of insecticide right in the courtroom.
