Regarding the case of cyanide poisoning that caused many people to die in Dong Nai, so far the investigating agency has initially clarified the motive of the defendant Nguyen Thi Hong Bich (SN 1986).
According to the investigation agency, Bich was living with his brother and his wife at a house in group 4, Son Ha hamlet, Vinh Thanh commune, Nhon Trach district. Stemming from a conflict in the family, on June 22, Bich saw that T. was sitting studying alone, so he took cyanide and put it in a capsule pill and gave it to T. to drink. The nephew was then poisoned and taken to the emergency hospital in critical condition.
In addition, the defendant also testified that from October 2023 to June 2024, Bich used cyanide as 3 other relatives in the family, leading to his death, including Bich's husband and 2 grandchildren.
The woman used Xuyana to deal with a series of outraged people.
Searching Bich's residence, the police seized a number of related evidences. In addition, according to Bich's indication, the police found a white plastic bottle weighing 0.7 kg containing cyanide buried in a cemetery in Son Ha hamlet, Vinh Thanh commune, Nhon Trach district. clarify.
Previously, local people said that in just 8 months, 5 members of Mr. Nguyen Van Hai's family (Bich's father) passed away abnormally, sharing symptoms of chest tightness, shortness of breath, headache, vomiting...
It wasn't until Mr. N.H.B.T. had similar symptoms and was promptly taken to the emergency room at Le Van Thinh Hospital (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), doctors were able to clarify the cause due to the impact of the toxic substance Cyanide.
It is known that Mr. Hai is a native of the locality, has 6 children (2 boys, 4 girls). Bich is the 3rd child in the family. Mr. Hai's wife is living with her first son in the US.
Before the incident, Mr. Hai lived with Bich and his wife at a house that is a rice shop next to Bac Minh parish, Son Ha hamlet, Vinh Thanh commune. Around October 2023, Mr. T. (SN 1985, Bich's husband) after a number of emergency visits at the hospital, passed away with symptoms of chest tightness, headache, shortness of breath...
A few months later, Mr. Hai also died with the same symptoms. "At this time, the locals have no doubt and think that this is the bad luck of the victim's family, because Bich's husband is sick and has been hospitalized many times. Meanwhile, Mr. Hai also has a history of stroke," Mr. H. said.
According to the man, about a month after experiencing 2 funerals, baby M. (Bich's child) also had symptoms of chest tightness, shortness of breath and cyanosis all over the body. When he was taken to the hospital, he did not survive. At this time, the locals began to be confused.
After the funeral, Mr. Lam (SN 1979, Bich's 2nd brother) took his wife and 2 children to live at his biological father's house. Mr. Lam and Bich continue to sell rice and barbecue noodles at the family's house with a 10m long façade.
Lam sells barbecue noodles and broken rice in the morning and afternoon. Bich sells popular rice at noon. The neighbor thought that Mr. Hai's family incident only stopped at 3 lives, unexpectedly a few months later, mourning continued to come.
"After 2 months of moving to a new place, Mr. Lam's youngest son showed the same symptoms as his grandfather and passed away at the hospital. Next, Mr. Lam's nephew (the child of the 5th sister) also did not pass away with the same symptoms. People can't explain why Mr. Hai's family keeps dying," Mr. H. said.
Mr. H. added that recently, when Mr. Lam's first son fainted, was taken to the emergency hospital and was diagnosed with cyanide poisoning by doctors at Le Van Thinh Hospital, people began to doubt the 5 previous deaths at Mr. Nguyen Van Hai's house.
