Previously, Ty Thy shared, when there were few customers, her shop also had 13-14 employees, and when it was crowded, there were up to 26 employees. At the end of 2023, Ty Thy revealed that the papaya salad shop fell into a "crisis" when the number of customers was halved - something that has never been seen in 6 years of operation.

During that period, Ty Thy had to accept losses for many months in a row. Even in order to have enough expenses, she was force.d to reduce her employee salary from 9 million VND to 7.5 million VND.

The sale of small-scale trolleys has also been thought about by Ty Thy before. Because when she returned to Binh Duong to sell, she said: "Making salad is very extreme, so I only work when I have strength. If opening a restaurant in Binh Duong is not favorable, I will think about returning to Ho Chi Minh City to operate on a smaller scale and live on a small scale."
