Vietnamese movies are golden hour but flops: Excellent cast, "healing" script

I Love Each Other Peacefully is a drama that is "reviving" VTV's 8 o'clock movie time slot. Previously, this time frame also had a number of films broadcast but did not achieve positive results because originally, VTV's most attractive feature film prime time frame was after 9 p.m.

The return to I Love Each Other Peacefully was not too much of a concern to the audience at first, partly because the time frame and duration of each episode were too short, and partly because the film was not too strongly communicated.

From Duc Anh's marriage story to a small inn where working people have carried mother and daughter Ngoc (Trinh My Duyen) or tattooed Mr. Lam (Doan Quoc Dam) with a bad appearance but are actually extremely honest, Ms. Thoa osin (Hang Nga) talks quickly but humorously, love people,... Each character, no matter how little or how much they act, has their own very interesting story, creating a colorful society with all kinds of different emotions.

Although it is not widely publicized as a healing film like Heart Rescue Station, the story of My Love for Peace is very simple and gentle, eating away at the work labeled "healing".

Objectively speaking, apart from a few mean characters who occasionally appear to highlight some drama, this movie has no villains at all. Each character does not need to fight excessively, does not need screaming scenes or struggling to shoulder the incomprehensible script to still successfully conquer the audience. Typically, the story of Lan (Maya) and Quan (Trong Lan), two of whom are Duc Anh's sisters and best friends, after a journey with unending love stories, they have gradually realized who their true half is.

The screenwriter does not need to insert heavy drama into this character's line, just let their feelings gently develop, becoming an interesting bright spot of the work. Or the love story of Ngoc and Lam's narrow alley, their journey from hate to love is developed very naturally with small vibrations when accidentally next to each other.

Although the audience knows that these couples will get back together, they are still excited to watch their journey. Until now, the story of Han and Duc Anh is probably the most headache. Han, after understanding Duc Anh's story with her ex, was still stubborn and did not want to heal with her husband.

Of course, Han's attitude is somewhat uncomfortable for the audience, but with the screenwriter's very gentle and quick way of handling the story, perhaps this drama will also end soon. The audience sees the future of the film, not the vicious circle of meaningless, irrational and endless drama.

The story of the film, although the characters are rotated in awkward situations, the way for them to untie the hybrid knot is not too complicated. Viewers realize that, instead of fighting and taking revenge, the most important thing in I Love Each Other Peacefully is how the characters hold each other with the rope of love, friendship and humanity.

Besides, I Love Each Other in Peace has a lot of character lines and it is good that overall there are so many actors that no one makes the audience offended. The main couple Thanh Son - Viet Hoa has excellent chemistry, from lovely love scenes to quarrels and pains are fully expressed by the two.

Especially, the male lead Thanh Son, although he still plays a young man who is not really mature, affectionate and lovely, but he does not confuse the audience with Duc Anh with previous characters.

Moreover, the scenes that show the character's inner struggle, such as the scene where Duc Anh tries to explain to his wife about going to the motel with his ex, shows Thanh Son's great progress in acting. The only unfortunate point in this main couple is probably the poor appearance, Viet Hoa's beauty seal hairstyle.

As the title of the film, I Love Each Other in Peace Cui exploits stories that are not new, not a big hammer but still conquers the audience because of its "peace".
