Massage girls earn 200 million/month with sensitive services disguised as massage in the capital. Police raided unexpectedly, receptionist revealed a series of "unwritten rules" to deal with unexpected police inspections.
Hanoi City Police said they have just dismantled a group of girls providing sensitive services under the guise of Dong Do massage parlor (No. 146 Giang Vo, Giang Vo Ward, Hanoi City). According to information from the investigation agency, Dong Do massage parlor started operating in 2022. Initially, it may have been just a regular massage service business. However, in order to maximize profits and attract customers, especially those with sensitive needs, this establishment quickly transformed into a public "guest" gathering place. It is worth mentioning that the ringleaders have established a system of regulations and extremely sophisticated methods of operation to deceive the authorities.
One of the tricks that clearly shows the careful calculation of this line is to take advantage of the design of massage rooms with glass doors. This seems to be a disadvantage that is easily detected, but in fact, it is used to serve the purpose of control and response. The subjects have set strict rules for both customers and prostitutes: they are not allowed to perform the act on the bed but must spread a towel on the floor.
The receptionist's testimony said that this was a way to "avoid being discovered by the authorities". Furthermore, another unwritten rule was that when there were signs of being inspected, the subjects outside would signal by knocking on the massage room doors so that the female employees would quickly stop working and erase all traces. The good coordination and these hidden "rules of the game" showed the professionalism and recklessness of the group.
Through investigation, Major Nguyen Huu Bien, Team 2, Criminal Police Department of Hanoi City Police, provided more information about how this network approached customers. Dong Do massage establishment is located in a large hotel, with a strict security control system.
This inadvertently becomes a perfect "screen", helping them to filter and serve only "regular customers", those who regularly use the service and have a need will not transact directly but text via the Zalo application to choose a female employee, which is both convenient and reduces the risk of being tracked or trapped. The "tip" for each time is also at a huge level, ranging from 2-3 million VND, showing that this is a lucrative gold mine that makes many people defy the law to participate.
At the time of the inspection, the police discovered 30 female employees present at the facility, waiting for their "shift". The statements of these female employees revealed many dark corners worth pondering. One of them was LTTN (born in 1995, residing in Can Tho), who had been doing this job for 2 years. When asked why she had committed herself, N. expressed that she "no longer had faith in men" and considered this a way to make a living.
This girl also did not hesitate to reveal that her average monthly income was up to 150-200 million VND, a number that startled many people, reflecting an alarming reality about the value of labor and the distorted thinking of a part of the youth. Another female employee also frankly shared at the investigation agency: "When the guests first came in, we welcomed them, let them steam, massage, and take a relaxing bath. If the guests had any needs, they would give us 2 million. Then I thought that working normally would not make any money. After a few years of working and having money, I would do something else." These statements not only showed a lack of legal knowledge but also a lack of life orientation, leading to wrong choices.
Currently, the Criminal Police Department - Hanoi City Police is continuing to consolidate files and documents to complete procedures and handle the subjects according to strict regulations of the law. The case once again affirms the complexity of the evils of disguised activities in modern society and requires synchronous and drastic coordination of the whole society in the work of preventing and repelling these problems. This is also a warning for those who intend to embark on the path of crime, taking advantage of legal services to engage in illegal activities.
