Under the stilt house, Quoc said, at noon on July 3, Kpă H'Niêm, Kpă Dai and Rcom H'Van (both 13 years old, living in Bon Ju village) were herding cows in the Ba River area, the section near Ben Mong bridge, Ia Tul commune. The cows were full of grass, and the children drove the cows across the Ba River.

But when they reached the middle of the river, water suddenly poured in from upstream. The water level rose too fast, the children panicked and called for help. At this time, Quoc was nearby and heard a faint call and ran out, without thinking about it, he rushed straight into the murky and swirling water. Swimming to the place, Quoc was tired, he had no way to help all the children to the shore at once.

"The water rose very fast, I had to strain myself to not be pushed away by the water. Seeing that, I hugged them in my arms, but there was no way to bring them to the shore. Fortunately, at this time, Mr. Tran Van Nghia controlled the drone, I told them to sit in the middle and cling to the rope, then Kpă H Niem and Kpă Dai were brought to the shore safely. When he came to H'Van, he was too afraid of heights, he didn't dare to cling to the rope so that the drone could bring him ashore like the two of us first," Mr. Quoc said.

Standing in the middle of the river for a few minutes, Mr. Nay Bao (34 years old, H'Van's father) received the news, quickly ran home, carried a small canoe hanging under the stilt house and launched it to the riverbank. Mr. Bao rowed a canoe to the middle of the river, quickly picked up his daughter and Quoc to the shore safely. "Our family is very grateful to Mr. Nghia and Kpă Quoc. Without that courage and intelligence, I don't know how the children are now," Mr. Bao was emotional.

"Although many people prevented me, I still tried to try with the desire to quickly rescue the children before the flood water rose. Every moment of controlling the drone, I am very careful, taking the children to the shore one by one," Mr. Nghia said.

After about 10 minutes of brainstorming, Mr. Nghia rescued 2 children in the middle of the flood. A child was later rescued by a family member who rowed a boat. The location of the 3 children trapped was also gradually flooded, the peak of the water rose to about 2m.

According to the farmer, the agricultural plane can pull an object weighing 50kg, so he dared to risk driving to rescue 2 children. When controlling the plane, his heart was beating "wildly" because he was too worried.

"When the rescue was completed, the villagers were happy and excited. My family also thanked me and invited me home, but I refused and continued to return to work," Mr. Nghia confided.
