Before choosing a career in television, he tried his hand at Chemistry for nearly 2 years, received a Master's scholarship in Korea, but realized that the profession was not suitable. Regarding his personal life, BTV Son Lam married his wife Lan Huong in 2019 after 6 years of dating. The couple currently has two children and often shares happy moments on social media.
