Specifically, Mr. Má A.T.'s family held a funeral for their son in San II village, Hoang Lien commune, Sapa town and many locals, brothers and relatives in other communes attended.

Here, funeral attendees ate scattered meals from 11 noon on August 4 to the evening of August 5 with pork soup (boiled), soup, cabbage vegetable soup, white wine and white rice.

After returning home, many people experience vomiting and severe abdominal pain. At about 6:30 am on August 5, 11 people with abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and loose stools were repeatedly admitted to Sapa General Hospital by family members.

Currently, the patients' health is gradually stable. By the afternoon of August 6, 3 people had been discharged, and it is expected that the remaining patients will be discharged home today.

According to Lao Cai Department of Health, through research of some local people, it is customary for H'Mong ethnic people to have a custom when there are funerals, people from the same village, brothers bring food such as rice, rice, meat, wine ... come to contribute to the landlord.
