In interviews, Mr. Lieu Quy Ngan always affirmed that pigs have signs of disease not only one, but many. In particular, pigs slaughtered on many different days suffer from the same disease, not one day.
He showed the media images of some pigs being taken for meat and hung on a rack. In particular, there was a child with redness similar to the image of a "sick pig" he provided earlier.
An employee of Fresh Shop in Binh Duong said that in the past, 70-90 kg of C.P. Vietnam products were sold per day, but now there are only 20-40 kg.
In 2 days 4 and 5-6, the authorities of Binh Duong province have completed the inspection of 9 Fresh Shops of C.P. Vietnam in the area.
At the inspections, the functional forces noted that many C.P. Vietnam branded products were sold normally in Fresh Shops. C.P.'s cabinets and shelves displaying fresh meat products, processed foods and dry packaged foods are still listed prices, production dates, packaging, expiration dates, etc. fully as prescribed.
Fresh Shop owners have also provided legal documents, import and export documents, complied with the law on food safety; maintain and ensure food safety conditions in production and business, as well as food traceability here.
According to the reporter's notes, at some Fresh Shop stores in Binh Duong, although the authorities have not recorded any violations, the number of customers coming to buy C.P. Vietnam products has decreased significantly.
Specifically, when the delegation of the Sub-Department of Livestock, Veterinary Health and Fisheries of Binh Duong province came to inspect from about 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on June 4, the Fresh Shop store in Thong Nhat neighborhood, Di An ward only had 4 people coming to buy pork.
An employee of this store said that after C.P. Vietnam was entangled in a scandal suspected of selling "sick pigs", the store's products consumed per day decreased by about half. Some patrons even questioned and asked many questions to the staff.
Meanwhile, an employee of Fresh Shop in An Phu Ward, Thuan An City said that if in the past, the average store sold about 70-90 kg per day, now it is only 20-40 kg.
According to the reporter's research, these Fresh Shop stores mainly supply pigs and chickens to restaurants, restaurants, schools... The number of customers who come directly to the store to buy is not much.
After the scandal of suspected sale of sick pigs, some units have turned their backs on C.P. "After C.P. was entangled in bad information about the product, 2 schools in the area cut the contract to supply pigs and chickens" - an employee of Fresh Shop in Tan Dong Hiep ward, Di An City said.
