However, defendant Hang did not respond. The defendant said the indictment clearly showed these contents and said "the defendant used his right to remain silent". The lawyer asked her if she wanted to retract her words that offended client My Oanh. Defendant Hang replied: "Then who will revoke my 18 months in prison?".

After that, the lawyer continued to question Ms. My Oanh. Ms. My Oanh said: "I just hope to judge the right person for the crime. I heard Ms. Hang say that Ms. Hang suffered a lot of harm that she didn't know when I was pregnant and heard her say that I just wanted to die."

Accordingly, Ms. My Oanh does not request compensation for material or mental damages in cash but wants Ms. Hang to apologize. At the same time, Ms. Oanh asked for a reduced sentence for all other defendants.

"I personally do not know Ms. Hang and the defendants, and have no hatred, so I don't know why such a big story like this happened today" - Ms. Oanh said.

Responding later, defendant Hang said he did not agree to apologize to My Oanh.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien's lawyer asked defendant Hang. She identified Mr. Hien as one of the people who "attacked" her. Ask her if she has read the articles about Mr. Hien talking about her. On the same evening, after deliberation, the jury determined that defendant Hang was the mastermind in the case, had a sincere attitude in declaring, repenting, and repenting; Defendant Dang Anh Quan was relatively sincere.

The jury determined that defendant Hang's motive for committing the crime was partly because the other litigants were also at fault. From there, the court sentenced defendant Nguyen Phuong Hang to 3 years in prison (term of imprisonment from March 24, 2022); Defendant Quan received 2 years and 6 months in prison (term of imprisonment from February 24, 2023); The remaining accomplices were sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison each. The defendants committed the crime of "Abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals".

The jury asked the defendants to compensate Ms. Han Ni and Ms. Dinh Thi Lan for damages of 36 million VND.
