Doan Di Bang reassured users after the batch of Hanayuki shampoo was recalled because it did not meet the standards. The businesswoman affirmed that only one batch of products had problems, the other batches were still safe and users could rest assured to use.
In the midst of the storm of recalling a batch of Hanayuki shampoo products due to non-standard, businesswoman Doan Di Bang quickly made moves to reassure consumers. She affirmed that the problem only occurred in a single batch of products, while other batches are still safe and users can use it with complete peace of mind.
In the past few days, information about the Drug Administration (Ministry of Health) issuing a decision to suspend circulation, recall and destroy nationwide a batch of Hanayuki Shampoo products, 300g bottles - a shampoo product derived from herbs of VB Group Trading and Service Co., Ltd. (VB Group Company) has attracted special attention of the public. Notably, the legal representative of VB Group Company is Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu, the husband of businesswoman Doan Di Bang.
Immediately after the information was spread, Doan Di Bang continuously gave feedback to appease public opinion and reassure consumers. Following the post on the night of May 7, the once female singer continued to interact directly with users through the comments section on social networks, showing a frank attitude and not shirking responsibility.
In response to a netizen's question about the overall products of her and her husband's company, Doan Di Bang quickly responded decisively: "All Hanayuki products are periodically inspected according to regulations, the previous batches have been tested to meet the standards, so customers can rest assured to use them." This affirmation of the businesswoman partly helps consumers reduce their worries about other products under the Hanayuki brand.
The main reason for the strict recall decision from the Drug Administration has been clearly announced. Accordingly, the batch of Hanayuki Shampoo products was found to not meet the product standards in terms of microbial limits. More seriously, the product also contains 2-Phenoxyethanol, an ingredient that is completely absent from the product formula that has been granted a notification number. This is considered a serious violation of current regulations on cosmetic management.
In the face of these serious violations, the Drug Administration of Vietnam has issued a written request to VB Group Company to immediately stop trading and using the batch of Hanayuki Shampoo products nationwide. At the same time, this agency also requires CTY to recall all products in the substandard shipment to return to the supplier.
To clarify more about the process of returning the recalled goods, the reporter of the Labor Newspaper spoke directly with the representative of VB Group. According to information from this representative, users who have purchased products in the recalled shipment can send products to CTY's headquarters at 62/2 Lam Van Ben, Tan Kieng Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. HCM.
CTY is committed to receiving all returned goods and returning new products to users in the expected time from 10 to 15 days. Regarding costs related to product returns, such as shipping fees, a representative of VB Group Company affirmed that CTY will be fully responsible for paying. However, to ensure that the return process goes smoothly, users need to clearly state full information so that CTY can check and exchange as soon as there is a new batch of products.
For users who have purchased products through e-commerce platforms, CTY representatives recommend that you contact the seller or agent where you purchased the product directly for faster and more efficient support in returning the product, instead of directly contacting CTY.
Notably, this representative also emphasized CTY's return policy: "Customers who buy goods from any agent will send them back to that agent. CTY only applies the policy of exchanging new products, there is no policy of collection (refund)". This shows that VB Group Company focuses on fixing problems by providing alternative standard products to users.
On the evening of May 7, in the middle of the night, Doan Di Bang posted an official notice from VB Group regarding the batch of Hanayuki shampoo that was forced to be recalled. According to this notice, during the periodic inspection, a batch of CTY's Hanayuki Shampoo shampoo product was found to have a microbiological index exceeding the permitted threshold as prescribed. The cause of this incident has been determined to be an error arising during the production process at the factory to process products for VB Group.
In the announcement, VB Group Company shared specifically about the cause: "According to the confirmation from the production factory - the product processing unit for VB Company - this is an error arising during the production process and the factory has fully admitted responsibility. This error has led to the product not meeting microbiological safety standards."
On the basis of requests from the authorities, VB Group Company affirmed that it would recall and destroy all affected shipments in accordance with the law. Although it did not directly cause the incident, CTY admits that it is still the affected party and is committed to always putting products and transparency in business activities first.
Regarding the specific solution for consumers, VB Group announced that it will recall all Hanayuki Shampoo products in the affected shipment. For users who buy directly at CTY who want to return, CTY is ready to receive products sent back. For users who purchase through official dealers and distributors nationwide, CTY encourages users to contact these dealers and distributors directly for the fastest return support.
After receiving the defective product, VB Group Company is committed to compensating users with a new product that meets the standards, in order to ensure the best benefits and experience for consumers.
Finally, VB Group Company has sincerely apologized to users for this unnecessary inconvenience. CTY is committed to continuing efforts to strengthen strict control of the entire supply chain, from input materials to production and distribution, to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, rebuilding consumer trust in the Hanayuki brand.
