Phuong Hang decided to "expose" Han Ni: "Please answer, is the journalist card real or fake?"

Recently, the Bar Association of Ho Chi Minh City has issued a notice to accept the case of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang's complaint against LS - journalist Dang Thi Han Ni (pen name Han Ni, currently a reporter for Saigon Giai Phong newspaper. ). Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has transferred the contents of Ms. Hang's complaint to the Reward and Disciplinary Council (under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) for consideration and handling.

In the complaint, Ms. Phuong Hang asked the Vietnam Bar Federation to verify that Ms. Han Ni registered to practice law or not; Is it legal for Ms. Han Ni to both work as a journalist and as a lawyer.

In this regard, Ms. Han Ni said that: According to Point b, Clause 4, Article 17 of the Law on Lawyers, "... cadres, civil servants, public employees ..." are not granted a law practice certificate. Meanwhile, Ms. Han Ni is currently working for Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper under an indefinite-term labor contract (not an official), so it is legal for her to both work as a journalist and as a lawyer.

It is known that the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper has sent an official letter to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union stating that Ms. Han Ni has worked for the newspaper since 2003 until now under an indefinite term labor contract.

Recently, Phuong Hang continued to post on Facebook asking for an explanation about Han Ni's journalist card:

The Bar Association has confirmed that Han Ni is a member lawyer of the Association. Then I put forward two hypotheses, to officially DON HAN NI must admit one of two undeniable lies.

If this card is TRUE, then Han Ni is both a Lawyer and a Journalist. THIS IS BECAUSE OF LAW. If so, who, which organization, and individual go against the law to boldly license Han Ni to operate in the field of journalism? ONE BIG QUESTION FIRST.

Second, if this card is fake, then Han Ni is impersonating a journalist, impersonating a very sensitive field, impersonating an important state mouthpiece and, importantly, ORDERING ORGANIZE YOU? Why? Because who or what organization dared to bypass the law and squat on the law to grant this card to Han Ni? Which individual? Which organization is behind this card?

I wonder whether in both cases, whether this card is REAL or FAKE, the BIG QUESTION here is what privileges does Han Ni have, what power does she have, are there any underground passages that can make the Law at the same time. Did you just work as a Journalist? What privileges can have a fake journalist card?

Whether this card is real or fake, whatever the case may be, Han Ni still has to face a HUGE question mark from the law, from professional ethics, from the community.

Which individuals, organizations, and forces are related to this card, related to Han Ni, and dare to squat on the LAW? Han Ni, please answer, is this card real or fake? If it's fake, then you're guilty of impersonating a journalist, if it's true, you're guilty of TRUMPING VIETNAM LAW!"
