The road is small, quite crowded with people passing by, the fact that the big truck in panic is very prone to collisions. According to the latest information, the Traffic Police of Son La Province took more than 1 hour to chase to be able to control the driver of the aforementioned truck. In the process of fleeing, the truck carrying BKS 29H-692.11 continuously accelerated, overtaking recklessly, endangering other road users. Fortunately, no unfortunate incidents have occurred.

The incident occurred at about 6:55 a.m. on National Highway 6, Van Ho district, when there was a signal to stop the car to check the alcohol content, the driver N.H.H. did not obey and ran away despite the traffic police soldiers signaling to stop, but the driver still aggressively escaped. The working group then urgently used official means to chase and control the driver. Through the alcohol concentration test, the driver of SN 1990 violated at 0.705mg/liter of breath, surpassing the highest level of 0.4 mg/liter of breath.

Currently, the authorities are clarifying other violations of N.H.H.

Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (amended in Decree 123/2021/ND-CP) stipulates that car drivers who violate the alcohol concentration exceeding 80 milligrams/100 milliliters of blood or exceeding 0.4 milligrams/1 liter of breath will be fined from 6 million VND to 8 million VND. (Point e, Clause 8, Article 6); Deprivation of driver's license from 22 months to 24 months. (Clause 10, Article 6).

Previously, on social media, the clip was only 25 seconds long but made viewers quite nervous. Accordingly, a traffic police officer was constantly banging on the door of the truck to signal to stop. However, the stubborn driver kept swerving to escape. Fortunately, no unfortunate incidents have occurred since then. According to information from the poster, the incident occurred in Moc Chau Town. The truck was then stopped by the authorities, and the driver was brought back for investigation and clarification.

Running away when the traffic police ask to stop the vehicle is considered an act of disobeying the traffic controller's order. Accordingly, depending on the nature and severity of the act and the type of vehicle, the violator will be administratively sanctioned at different levels.

Specifically, according to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, amended and supplemented by Decree 123/2021/ND-CP, the fine is set for violators as follows:

- For automobiles and similar vehicles, a fine of between VND 4-6 million (Point b, Clause 5, Article 5) and an additional fine in the form of deprivation of the right to use the driver's license for 1-3 months (Point b, Clause 11, Article 5).

- For motorcycles, mopeds (including electric motorcycles) and similar vehicles, a fine of between VND 800,000 and VND 1 million (Clause g, Clause 4, Article 6) and an additional fine in the form of deprivation of the right to use the driving license for 1-3 months (Point b, Clause 10, Article 6).

- For tractors and special-use vehicles, an administrative fine of 2-3 million VND (Point d, Clause 5, Article 7). In addition, there is an additional penalty for tractor operators, which is deprivation of the right to use driving licenses for 1-3 months, and for drivers of special-use vehicles, the right to use certificates of fostering legal knowledge on road traffic is deprived of 1-3 months (Point a, Clause 10, Article 7).

- For bicycles, motorcycles (including electric bicycles) and other rudimentary vehicles, the fine is from VND 100,000 to VND 200,000 (Point b, Clause 2, Article 8).

- For driving or leading animals or driving animal carts, the fine level is from VND 100,000 to VND 200,000 (Point a, Clause 2, Article 10).
