As a result, 7 workers died on the spot, 3 others were slightly injured and are being treated at Yen Bai Provincial General Hospital. The identities of the deceased victims include: NVT, NVTh., MTH, residing in Xuan Lai commune, Yen Binh district; LMC, residing in Yen Binh commune, Yen Binh district; PXT, Thinh Hung commune, Yen Binh district; PhD, NDM, residing in Yen Bai city.

The 3 injured people being treated at the hospital are NVT, residing in Tan Nguyen commune, Yen Binh district; PhD, residing in Dai Dong commune, Yen Binh district and PNL, residing in Viet Cuong commune, Tran Yen district.
