According to many medical staff of this hospital, the meager salary they receive every month is not enough for them to cover their living expenses, many people have to sell vegetables and fruits after work to earn extra income.

Recently, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy, said that related to the above incident, the Board of Directors of Tue Tinh Hospital, the Union of the Academy and functional departments met. , encourage and suggest that officials and employees stay calm, do not gather in large numbers, causing internal instability.

Leaders insist on doing the right thing

According to the hospital's director, from January 2019, Tue Tinh Hospital was adjusted to classify public non-business units from those that self-finance part of regular operating expenses to those that self-finance routine operating expenses. often.

Tue Tinh Hospital is autonomous and responsible for the use of financial resources to perform its duties in accordance with the regulations of the State and the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy. The management of the staff and the salary regime of officials and employees working at the Hospital comply with the provisions of the Law on Public Employees and the current Law.

Regarding the reason for the delay in salary, hospital leaders said that the Covid-19 epidemic was complicated, especially in the 4th wave from the end of April 2021, the hospital had almost no patients. Bed occupancy in the first quarter of 2021 reached 15%, the second quarter of 2021 reached 51.19% and the third quarter of 2021 reached 12.1% of the planned number of hospital beds.

According to the hospital's representative, despite the decrease in revenue, the hospital still has to increase spending to implement measures to prevent and control infection caused by the Covid-19 epidemic such as purchasing anti-epidemic costumes, antiseptic solutions, expenses. serve the vaccination work for officials, employees and their relatives, appoint officials to participate in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in localities.

Therefore, from May 2021 to now, the Hospital has only temporarily paid 50% of the salary, leading to many difficulties in the life of officials and employees. Mr. Huy emphasized that the unit has proposed a plan to handle and remove difficulties, consulted the Ministry of Health and is waiting for specific direct instructions from the Ministry of Health and will soon make full payment of salaries. for staff.

Leaders have promised
