Previously, in March 2021, Ms. Hang accused Mr. Yen of fraud and abusing trust to appropriate her property in Ho Chi Minh City and some other provinces and cities. During the investigation, due to the expiration of the time limit for checking and verifying the source of the crime, but there was no conclusion of the assessment, on July 18, 2021, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Investigation Agency issued a decision to temporarily suspend the investigation. only dealing with the source of crime information for Ms. Hang's application.

At the beginning of September 2021, after the conclusion of the assessment, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Bureau issued a decision to restore the settlement of criminal information to continue investigating, verifying and clarifying.

Previously, on October 16, 2021, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang went to the headquarters of the Criminal Police Department (PC02) - Ho Chi Minh City Police to work on litigation related to Mr. Vo Hoang Yen. After leaving, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang went to the livestream to say that she was assaulted by a group of people at this place.

Ms. Hang said in the livestream: "Those five people assaulted me at the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department in the office... There was one of my lawyers and one police officer.

In the livestream clip, Ms. Hang clearly stated the name of lawyer K.

Hang said she would make an application to the Ministry of Public Security and other authorities to request the extraction of the camera to clarify and handle the case.

"I pledge that what I say is the truth and take full responsibility before the law," Ms. Hang asserted in the livestream.
