Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu said that the Department of Education and Training will have a form of handling responsibility for 2 exam invigilators, heads and deputy exam sites at the exam site of Nguyen Du High School in the recent high school graduation exam.

According to Mr. Hieu, the responsibility of the head of this exam center is not to closely follow the exam room when there is an incident, not knowing that the exam room has issued new exam papers to candidates. The head of the city's education and training department acknowledged the shortcomings for allowing errors in exam proctoring, and affirmed that there would be a form of handling the responsibilities of departments related to this case to ensure maximum rights for candidates.

Regarding the direction of handling, the leader of the Department said that after organizing the exam marking in the usual form, the Department will have a joint marking team, reviewing all the candidates' language arts exams in this exam room, ensuring that no candidates are disadvantaged.

Previously, some candidates and parents with children taking the 2024 high school graduation exam at the exam site of Nguyen Du High School reflected that during the language arts exam, in exam room 2500, after the candidates had done the test for a short time, the exam invigilator informed 24 candidates in the room that they had mistakenly signed the exam marking officer's box. Therefore, the exam invigilator arbitrarily decided to collect the candidates' exam papers in the exam room, distributing new exam papers to the candidates. According to reflections, this has taken a period of time for candidates to do the language arts test.

Nearly a week has passed, recalling the incident, P (a candidate in the exam room who had a problem) said that he was less depressed than when he just walked out of the exam room. "I waited day by day until the exam scores were announced. I believe in the handling direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training for the legitimate interests of myself and my exam roommates," P expressed.

When recalling the incident, Ms. P.N (the parent of a contestant) angrily said that her child cried a lot when she told about the above incident. According to Ms. N, when the proctor asked to copy the content on the new exam paper, her child and many candidates did not agree but in the end still had to do it to avoid wasting more time. "Because of my frustration, I always cry in the exam room," Ms. N shared.

According to the verification of the Department of Education and Training, during the language arts test, when the candidate took the test for about 10 minutes, the exam invigilator of exam room 2500 found that he had mistakenly signed the exam marking officer's box on the candidate's exam paper.

After that, the exam invigilator arbitrarily distributed the exam papers to all candidates in the room. According to the Department of Education and Training, at this time, due to many disagreements, the 2 proctors reported the incident to the supervisor of the exam room outside. The incident was reported to the head of the exam site. At that time, the head of the exam site asked the examiner of this exam room to return the old exam paper to the candidates in the exam room, without adding time to the exam for the candidates because it did not have much influence.

However, the head of the exam site did not know the information that the candidates of this exam room had been distributed and made on the new exam paper, so it happened that some students worked on the new exam paper, and some students worked on the old exam paper, causing disadvantage for the candidates of the 2500 exam room. especially affecting the psychology of candidates during the exam.
