For subjects in the Social Science complex such as Literature this year, 3 candidates scored 10 points (in 2020, 2 candidates get 10 points in this exam). Thus, it can partly explain the reason why many candidates with 27 and 28 points can still fail university if they are not sober in applying for admission.

Up 9 points from last year

With the combinations A01 and D01, the admission criteria for related majors also increased significantly. First of all, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment "jumped" in matriculation scores. This year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology has the highest three majors, IT1, IT2 and IT-E10, all of which are over 28 points. In particular, 68% of candidates who scored 29 points or more in 3 combined subjects A00 and A01 nationwide were admitted to Hanoi University of Science and Technology. With the norm of 300, the IT1 benchmark is 28.43 points.

Mr. Vu Khac Ngoc, a chemistry teacher in Hanoi, said that the reason why the benchmark scores of many majors with English subjects increased gallopingly was because the scores for this subject were higher this year than in previous years. .
