Over the years, Mr. Huy Ky has worked as a social worker and is the Chairman of the Thanh Xuan District Association of People with Disabilities. Now, when she is old, she wants to become a traditional medicine doctor.
"To do oriental medicine, I have to study medicine, so I need to take the exam to get a high school diploma. That's why I'm here," he said.
At this age, Ky has had children and grandchildren. "My grandchildren are also doing well in school, one is studying at the University of Pharmacy for the first year, the other is studying at the Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted this year, and also taking the graduation exam this year," he said.
"When I got home, my grandfather and I also asked each other if we could do the homework," he added with a smile.
After this exam, the 82-year-old candidate wishes to be admitted to the medical school of the Hanoi Department of Health. He shared: "I am also quite embarrassed because people think that he is too ignorant. I hope that the children go to the exam together to study well, because our country needs a lot of talented people."
Talking about Mr. Huy Ky, a volunteer during the exam season where Ky took the high school graduation exam, said that in the past few days, he often arrived early, went to school by himself on a three-wheeled motorbike, and got off the vehicle with crutches. to resist while moving.
This volunteer said that when he first met Ky on the day of the exam, many people thought that he was the candidate's family, only to know that he was the candidate.
Many young people in the volunteer team admire Mr. Huy Ky, thinking that he is a studious example worth following.

At the exam site of Phu Hoa Town Secondary School (Chu Pah District, Gia Lai), there were two mother and daughter participating in the 2022 high school graduation exam, namely Ro Cham HMPer, 44 years old, and Ro Cham Thi, a 12th grader.
Ms. Ro Cham HMPer shared: "I want to have a high school diploma so that my children can look at it to follow, and at the same time improve their own knowledge", she said and said that before the exam the mother and daughter studied together. Ms. Hoa, currently working at Tuoi Hoa Kindergarten (Pleiku City), said that due to job requirements requiring a high school diploma, three years ago, she and her husband enrolled at the Center for Continuing Education in Chu Pah district.
