According to initial information, at around 5:00 p.m. on December 21, a car with license plate 22A-186.xx, driven by a woman, was traveling on a road in Group 10, Nong Tien Ward, Tuyen Quang City. When reaching the red slope intersection, it suddenly encountered a motorbike driven by a man crossing the street from the opposite direction (this person turned left).

At the same time, the car driver suddenly turned to the right and crashed straight into house number 26, group 10, Nong Tien ward. "At that time, there was a mother and a 17-month-old girl in the house. The incident caused the child to tragically die," said information from the leader of Tuyen Quang City People's Committee.

Immediately after receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene to clarify the incident. The leader added that the cause of the accident is still being investigated by the authorities, but the initial assessment is that it may have been due to the driver mistakenly stepping on the brake pedal instead of the accelerator, causing the car to go too fast, leading to the consequences.

From the security camera footage near the scene of the accident, it can be seen that a car was moving on the road when it suddenly encountered a motorbike going in the opposite direction. Immediately after, the car turned sharply and crashed straight into a house on the side of the road.

Another camera inside the house that the car crashed into recorded the entire scene. It can be seen that, unfortunately, at the time the car crashed, there were two people (identified as a mother and a 17-month-old girl) standing together in front of the door.

The incident happened so suddenly that both of them were caught off guard. The mother, shocked by the fall, immediately stood up to look for her child. However, the girl later died.

In another development, at around 6:00 a.m. this morning (December 22), at Km1471 200 National Highway 1 (in Khanh Thanh Bac village, Suoi Cat commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province), a series of traffic accidents occurred, causing 4 cars, 3 motorbikes to be damaged and 3 people to be hospitalized.

At the above time, truck 47C-230.xx driven by Phan Nhu Vu (36 years old, resident of Cu Bao commune, Buon Ho town, Dak Lak province) was traveling on National Highway 1 in the South - North direction and hit the back of car 79C-024.xx driven by Nguyen Ngoc Van (26 years old, resident of Dien Khanh district) traveling in the same direction.

The strong impact caused car 79C-024.xx to rush forward to the opposite lane and then hit car 62H-044.xx driven by Nguyen Hoang Anh (41 years old, residing in Cai Be district, Tien Giang province) traveling in the North-South direction. Meanwhile, car 47C-230.xx continued to rush onto the roadside and hit Ms. Thai Thi L. (Suoi Tan commune, Cam Lam district) and Ms. Trinh Thi Ng. (Suoi Cat commune, Cam Lam district).
