Artist Thu Huong loves her profession but accepts the fact that "old bamboo shoots grow"

NS Thu Huong was born in 1970, is well remembered by the audience as "Fresh Huong" in the programs Meet Weekend or Meet at the end of the year on VTV. In recent years, the female artist has been absent from television and focused on work at the Theater.

Artist Thu Huong (Huong Tuoi) said that she was disappointed when she found herself past her time playing the main role, but then had to accept the fact that "old bamboo shoots grow". The name "Fresh Huong" is associated with Artist Thu Huong until now. She shared that she also likes this name very much because it is close and also proves the love of the audience. The witty female artist said that the reason she was called by this name was because she often laughed.

Although she is always smiling, the female artist admits that in life and work, an artist like her also sometimes has difficulties, hardships and also sometimes "withers" in her heart. "If everything was flat, maybe there would not be a fresh Huong like now" - Artist Thu Huong confided.

The artist "Fresh Fragrance" said that there is no one in her family who follows art. On the day of the exam to enter the University of Theater and Cinema, her parents vehemently objected because they knew that art was very hard. It wasn't until she witnessed the time when Artist Thu Huong studied at school that her parents realized their passion, talent and love and began to support.

"When I first started my career, Vietnam's theater scene was developing very strongly, so the competition was very fierce. Compared to form, Thu Huong is completely inferior to her peers, so she tells herself to try hard with hard training. Huong passionately practiced day and night in any type of role to get the best results," the female artist recalled.

TV audiences remember Thu Huong when playing comedy roles, but few people know that the female artist is always assigned drama roles on the stage of the Youth Theater. She also revealed that her forte is acting in dramas mixed with a bit of tragedy. With a job at the Theater Troupe 1 of the Youth Theater, Artist Thu Huong works hard to live in roles on stage. She revealed that she was very fascinated by being "immersed" in the spotlight with her favorite roles.

"The spotlight has attracted Huong. The stage is a cathedral" - the female artist confided.

Recalling the days when she was sitting in the lecture chair, Artist Thu Huong said that she was always closely followed by her mother and edited every little bit of the acting style to be able to convey emotions to the audience. "My parents are the first audience members of Thu Huong and always give me advice to act better. When my mother died, my father became a solid support, taking care of my children on my behalf. Huong thinks that she is really a lucky person" - the female artist choked up when talking about her mother.

The female artist also remembers the days when her mother waited at the school gate or outside the gym until late at night. Sometimes, seeing her daughter practicing passionately forgetting the time, her mother also eagerly urged her to come home. In 2003, the female artist gave birth to a chil.d and spent a lot of time with her family, so the frequency of appearing on television was decreasing. Even so, she is still proud to be known by the audience and lucky to be loved by everyone.

"When she has a name, Huong is proud of what she has. Huong once refused many invitations because those scenes made her afraid and forced. Once, when she performed in Ho Chi Minh City, she met the audience to praise why Thu Huong on television played a crooked role, but in real life, Huong felt very happy. Huong decided not to trade for the role. Huong likes acting, making movies, will follow her until the end of her life, never quit her profession" - Artist Thu Huong confided.

Since Meet the Weekend stopped, Artist Thu Huong has continued to work at the Youth Theater, but her work cycle has decreased a lot. Besides, the female artist also participates in the film if she finds it suitable for the role. She confided that the "fire" of passion for the profession will always burn forever and never go out.

"Until now, Huong still longs for a role that suits her, so that she can live, cry, laugh, and express all her passion for art. If there is, Huong will stop everything to do, including my family, because my children are now grown. Art is never a destination, when we conquer one thing, we crave another. Huong also has roles that have won gold medals, but if it is remade, it will be performed differently," - the female artist confided.

For Artist Thu Huong, the Youth Theater is her second home and a place to "give wings" for her to "fly high" in the sky of art. She also expressed her gratitude to the director - People's Artist Khai Hung for inviting her to act with the late artist Pham Bang in the program Meet the Weekend so that the audience knew "Fresh Fragrance".

Revealing the secret to staying young, Artist Thu Huong said that just optimism is needed. However, there was also a period when she was stressed - the new time when she returned to the Youth Theater. "At that time, the glory of famous artists was very overwhelming and I was just a grain of sand, only allowed to do mass roles" - Artist Thu Huong recounted.
