At the meeting with artists at the beginning of the year, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen asked HIEUTHUHAI after his success and the show "Say Hi" by Anh Trai.

The meeting of artists and media agencies on the occasion of the New Year, organized by the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, took place on the morning of February 24.

The program was attended by Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Thi Le, along with about 300 artists and representatives of media and press agencies in the area.

Within the framework of the meeting, rapper HIEUTHUHAI, had a speech before the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City. According to the rapper, over the past year, the literature and arts of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general have developed strongly. The success of reality TV shows and concerts, including Anh trai "say hi" are notable highlights.

HIEUTHUHAI said he was proud to be a factor contributing to the overall success of the program. "In addition, the success of the program is largely due to the attention, support, and facilitation from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports. From this companionship and support, young artists like me have the opportunity to develop and contribute to the country's literature and arts," the rapper said.

After HIEUTHUHAI's speech, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen asked the rapper: "What gives you these creative and unique inspirations? The program has been successful, how can we continue to promote it, create a useful playground, as well as enhance spirit, energy, and inspiration to attract everyone?".

Answering a question from the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, HIEUTHUHAI said that his creative inspiration mostly comes from life experience, not too lofty. This brings closeness as well as emotions to the audience.

In response to Secretary Nguyen Van Nen's question about what the Ho Chi Minh City authorities need to do, HIEUTHUHAI expressed his hope that the Ho Chi Minh City leaders would always support and create conditions to allow similar programs to be organized, leaving the rest to the artists to be creative and indulge their passion.

"Are there any problems with regulations, mechanisms, and policies? Are management agencies making things difficult?", Secretary Nguyen Van Nen asked further.

HIEUTHUHAI said that for new programs, new creativity of young people needs time for leadership, audience to absorb and accept new creations, not completely make things difficult. "Current music of young people has things that are a bit difficult to accept, but time will help people accept that," the male artist added.

"The program is very proud to be supported by a large number of young people. This is the first time idol culture in Vietnam is so strong. I hope young artists will continue to make efforts to develop such programs. I hope that leaders will always support and create conditions for creators to continue to develop," HIEUTHUHAI shared.
