Trang Nhung narrowed down her singing career and followed a notorious tycoon in Bac Ninh. What is she doing now?

Trang Nhung was born in 1973 in Quang Ninh and became known to the audience when she participated in the 1999 National Television Singing Festival. Although she was highly appreciated for her voice and appearance, she did not pursue a professional singing career afterwards.

It is known that since 1996, Trang Nhung has quietly lived with businessman Ngo Nhat Phuong - a notorious tycoon from Bac Ninh and owns 8,700 hectares of rubber, sugarcane, pepper; 80 large scrap yards and a series of companies in many different fields.

Later, when sharing her love story, Trang Nhung revealed that she met her husband, who is 13 years older than her, when they both had nothing. After many years of building happiness, the couple planned to get married 6 times but were always busy and got pregnant.

But when my child was sick or my homework was in disarray, I gave up everything to stay home and take care of my child", she said.

Trang Nhung admitted that she was confused between her career and her children. Therefore, although she still maintains her artistic activities, it is only to be present in the market and not to make a living. The female guest chose to look at things in an optimistic way after getting married: "I think singing is good, and if someone loves me, I will do my best. That's my way of thinking, so there is nothing to be sad about. When I appear, whether there are many or few audiences, I still sing with the same enthusiasm."

During the program, Trang Nhung also had the opportunity to share about her talented daughter Bich Ngoc. It is known that she was the runner-up of Vietnam's Got Talent 2015 and the runner-up of Familiar Faces Kids 2017. The female singer revealed that her daughter was quite shy before. Therefore, she decided to let her participate in competitions to gain experience and become bolder. "The problem is that after the competition, she has to go back to school, and cannot be an artist who performs," the guest confided. According to Trang Nhung, that helps Bich Ngoc nurture her feelings for music, but when performing, she cannot compare to child singers who are active regularly.

At the same time, the singer from Quang Ninh believes that musical talent is quite important. "I just regret that my child cannot sing regularly. Everything has to be learned and practiced. I am letting my child learn more about the instrument. As he grows up, if he still has passion and wants to contribute, he will practice and improve himself. I am only there to correct what he lacks. Since having 4 children, Trang Nhung has only accepted recording and performing assignments within the vicinity of Ho Chi Minh City (such as Dong Nai, Can Tho, Ba Ria - Vung Tau...) or live recording programs that can be completed within the day.
