Trang Nhung narrowed down her singing career and followed a notorious tycoon in Bac Ninh. What is she doing now?

Trang Nhung was born in 1973 in Quang Ninh and became known to the audience when she participated in the 1999 National Television Singing Festival. Although she was highly appreciated for her voice and appearance, she did not pursue a professional singing career afterwards.

It is known that since 1996, Trang Nhung has quietly lived with businessman Ngo Nhat Phuong - a notorious tycoon from Bac Ninh and owns 8,700 hectares of rubber, sugarcane, pepper; 80 large scrap yards and a series of companies in many different fields.

Later, when sharing her love story, Trang Nhung revealed that she met her husband, who is 13 years older than her, when they both had nothing. After many years of building happiness, the couple planned to get married 6 times but were always busy and got pregnant.

At the time, she was already a mother of four children, Trang Nhung and her husband lived in a 100 billion VND villa, with a spacious space and elaborate 6 floors. When revealin.g the property, Trang Nhung excitedly showed off that her family's residence was designed in the style of a royal palace.

In addition to the rooms for each family member, the living room, dining room... are all fully furnished with modern furniture, necessary for daily life. Besides the villa, Trang Nhung has also appeared many times with expensive cars.

Having a life that many people dream of, Trang Nhung only occasionally sings at her favorite shows and releases commemorative products. However, in the middle of this year, Trang Nhung and her rich husband were rumored to be divorcing after 23 years together.

When the incident was discussed on social media, Trang Nhung quickly denied it and said that she and her husband only had arguments and anger because her husband often went on business trips. Currently, Trang Nhung spends most of her time taking care of her children and rarely sings again.

In the program Confession, when asked about the reason for deciding to stop her artistic career to build a family, Trang Nhung admitted that "only love can make us change". At the time of marriage, the singer from Quang Ninh was still quite young. "I determined that the most important career for women is children. When I have children, I almost have to suppress my passion. When I saw the invitation to sing, I really liked it. But when my chil.d was sick or my homework was in disarray, I gave up everything to stay home and take care of my chil.d", she said.

Trang Nhung admitted that she was confused between her career and her children. Therefore, although she still maintains her artistic activities, it is only to be present in the market and not to make a living. The female guest chose to look at things in an optimistic way after getting married: "I think singing is good, and if someone loves me, I will do my best. That's my way of thinking, so there is nothing to be sad about. When I appear, whether there are many or few audiences, I still sing with the same enthusiasm."

During the program, Trang Nhung also had the opportunity to share about her talented daughter Bich Ngoc. It is known that she was the runner-up of Vietnam's Got Talent 2015 and the runner-up of Familiar Faces Kids 2017. The female singer revealed that her daughter was quite shy before. Therefore, she decided to let her participate in competitions to gain experience and become bolder. "The problem is that after the competition, she has to go back to school, and cannot be an artist who performs," the guest confided. According to Trang Nhung, that helps Bich Ngoc nurture her feelings for music, but when performing, she cannot compare to chil.d singers who are active regularly.

At the same time, the singer from Quang Ninh believes that musical talent is quite important. "I just regret that my chil.d cannot sing regularly. Everything has to be learned and practiced. I am letting my chil.d learn more about the instrument. As he grows up, if he still has passion and wants to contribute, he will practice and improve himself. I am only there to correct what he lacks. I cannot hold his hand and do everything. It all depends on whether he wants it or not," Trang Nhung expressed her opinion.

In her 26 years in the profession, Trang Nhung considers herself to be a group of artists who rarely appear, despite receiving many invitations to perform for beauty pageants, corporations, and major music shows. When she was young, she was active in music. In 1998-1999, the singer appeared on VTV1 and VTV3 and was known to audiences nationwide.

Since having 4 children, Trang Nhung has only accepted recording and performing assignments within the vicinity of Ho Chi Minh City (such as Dong Nai, Can Tho, Ba Ria - Vung Tau...) or live recording programs that can be completed within the day.

For 26 years, the singer has never stayed up all night singing. If she accepts a show in the evening, she will come home right away, even if it is late. Up to now, Trang Nhung has only participated in two big game shows: Tuyet Dinh Tranh Tai and Biet Doi Tai Tai. Both times, the singer carefully asked for permission from her husband, businessman Ngo Nhat Phuong. When her husband agreed, Trang Nhung focused on filming.

Several times in interviews with newspapers and radio stations, Trang Nhung often received comments such as: "stopped singing for a long time", "haven't appeared for a long time"... The singer emphasized that she may reduce the frequency of her activities but has never stopped singing.

Currently, Trang Nhung feels that she has changed a bit. Before, she was shy about talking about mone.y, and asked acquaintances to receive her performance fees on her behalf.

Once, when she came home from a performance and opened the envelope, she found out that a rich female show organizer had taken half of her salary. "At that time, I thought: 'Well, whoever did wrong will have to pay for it' so I didn't say anything. Later, I heard that she was living in poverty and debt," the singer recalled. After 26 years in the music industry, Trang Nhung believes that anyone in any profession needs to focus on studying and improving their profession. "When you have a profession in hand, you don't have to worry about hunger or unemployment. If you have passion, you will definitely succeed," she concluded.
