The p.erpetrator of the m.urder of a young woman who was dumped in the Red River is about to appear in court, with a predicted sentence of up to the maximum penalty.

The case that shocked the entire internet in 2023, about the p.erpetrator of the crime against a 17-year-old g.irl, then released her body into the Red River, is about to be brought to court. The sentence is predicted to reach the maximum limit.

It is expected that at the end of September, the Hanoi People's Court will bring defendant Ta Duy Khanh (39 years old) to the first instance trial. Khanh was prosecuted by the Hanoi People's Procuracy for robbery and assaulting another person.

Previously, at 12:30 p.m. on October 13, 2023, Hanoi City Police received a report from residents about the discovery of some human parts on the bank of the Red River (in Giang Cao Village 2, Bat Trang Commune, Gia Lam District). During the investigation, the police determined that the above parts belonged to Ms. HYN (17 years old).

Using professional measures, the police quickly identified the p.erpetrator as Ta Duy Khanh (39 years old, from Dong Thai commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province). On the night of October 14, 2023, the police discovered Khanh hiding in his private home in Dong Thai commune, so they organized a siege to arrest him. After being arrested, Khanh confessed to all his actions.

On the evening of October 10, Khanh and Ms. N went out to eat together, then returned to Khanh's apartment in an urban area in Gia Lam district, Hanoi. There, the story of the debt continued to be brought up, leading to a conflict between the two. Khanh used a sharp object to hit Ms. N.

Early the next morning, Khanh returned to the area alone and poured cement over the place where the g.irl's body was buried. On the afternoon of October 13, when he learned that the police had discovered the incident, Khanh took a bus and fled to Thai Binh.

We assessed this as a particularly serious case, so we mobilized forces to organize a search and expand the search for traces on the surface of the Red River and the riverbank area flowing through Mieu Ban.
