Before the above incident, on the afternoon of November 4, Quoc Oai district directed and requested the district health center and Yen Son commune health station to suspend the injection line consisting of 4 medical staff and suspend the work of medical staff. According to Soc Trang Department of Health, the total number of children from 3 to under 18 years old in the province who are expected to receive 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine is 293,017, equivalent to 586,034 doses. The vaccine used for injection for children from 3 to under 18 years old is Pfizer or according to the allocation of the Ministry of Health.

For school-going children, they will be vaccinated at a school or at an appropriate injection site selected by an educational institution to ensure vaccination safety and disease prevention. Children who do not go to school will be vaccinated at fixed or mobile vaccination points in the areas selected by the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. Particularly, children with underlying diseases will be vaccinated at specialized Obstetrics - Pediatrics Hospitals, Provincial General Hospitals and district and town health centers.
