Dangrangto recently had a sensational performance on the stage of "Rap Viet" season 4. He made all 4 coaches compete to recruit him to their team, the "battle" was so fierce that B Ray was banned from speaking by Suboi.

Dangrangto, also known by his rap name Tran La Luot, whose real name is Tran Hai Dang, was born in 2002 in Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province. He is currently a rapper in the Workaholic$ team, and recently attracted attention when participating in the program "Rap Viet" 2024.

Dangrangto's hometown Vinh Yen is about 60 kilometers from Hanoi, a small and peaceful city. However, he did not grow up in a vibrant hip hop culture environment like Hanoi or Hai Phong, but had to face many changes in life. This has shaped a rapper with the gentle, poetic style of Vinh Yen people, combined with the stubbornness and arrogance of an experienced person.

About 7 years ago, Dangrangto was first introduced to by a high school classmate. The video he watched was a rap verse he wrote on the background music "Em Dung Tren Canh Dong" by Le Cat Trong Ly. The slow, leisurely style, along with the romantic, poetic rap lyrics, accompanied by the sound of smoking tobacco and the phone notification next to him, made it impossible for this person to watch it just once.

After that, Dangrangto diligently uploaded music to SoundCloud. Many tracks were recorded only on iPhone but still reached hundreds of thousands of listens. In particular, the song "Em Cung Nho Anh Ma Phai Khong" he wrote in 10th grade has surpassed 1 million listens.

The recordings were very raw, Dangrangto's voice was both hoarse and tearful as if he was about to cry, and this made many fans feel sympathetic. After a period of absence, rapper 2k2 returned with a new image in the group Workaholic$ and created the hit "Wrong Times" (feat. Puppy) that caused a stir in the music industry last year.

If Dangrangto writes love songs and sad songs, then Tran La Luot - his second personality - shows a different style. With songs like "Tran Duy Hung", "O Quy" and most recently "Goodbye Rocky CDE", this guy flows like spraying bullets, rhymes are dense, especially the delivery makes many people get goosebumps.

Among them, "Goodbye Rocky CDE" - a diss of Rocky CDE by Dangrangto has attracted special attention from the Vietnamese rap community. This product also received compliments from many famous young rappers such as Gill, Coldzy, Winno and Linh Thon.

Ever since the information about Dangrangto participating in the casting of "Rap Viet" season 4 was leaked, music fans have been restless. Watching the first episodes of the show, not seeing the appearance of the male rapper, they wanted to scream at the organizers.

However, the fans' wait was finally rewarded when Dangrangto appeared in episode 4. In the Conquest round, rapper 2k2 delivered a well-prepared performance in both visual and audio with the rap "Dau Phai Vo Anh", remixed from the song "Vo Nguoi Ta" by Phan Manh Quynh, with support from singer Pham Anh Duy.

Notably, when the most anticipated "Thousand-Blooded Monster" just stepped onto the stage, before he could do anything, B Ray quickly threw his Golden Hat, leaving the audience, the judges, and the remaining 3 coaches "surprised and bewildered".

At the end of the competition, Dangrangto continued to receive Karik's Golden Hat along with the full selection from 4 coaches. Not to be left behind, BigDaddy immediately threw the Golden Hat into the fight. At this point, all attention was on Suboi as she locked in the Golden Hat amid cheers from the audience at the studio.

The recruitment from the coaches became even more dramatic when the Golden Lock seemed to be around Karik's neck, but the only female coach changed course and "banned chat" with B Ray. And so, rapper 1993 had to sadly withdraw from the "war" despite being the first to throw the Golden Hat.
