V#: Under The Hood member "caused a fever" in 2 seasons of Rap Viet, making Binz blush

V# is known as a female rapper with a unique voice, and is also a student of both Karik and BigDaddy in season 4 of "Rap Viet". Her journey here left a deep impression on the audience.

V# (or Vi Thang), real name Pham Thi Yen Vi, was born on December 22, 2000 in Vung Tau City. She is a singer and rapper living, studying and working in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, she is also known as a member of the rap group Under The Hood, and studied English at the International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Possessing a unique fashion style, attractive appearance with a height of over 1.7m and a photogenic face, V# makes a strong impression on the audience every time she appears. After covering songs by B Ray, the Frog and Bao groups, she successfully attracted the attention of the underground community.

From 2016 - 2017, V# left his mark through outstanding vocal parts in outstanding music products such as: "Way Back Home" and "100 Questions" by B Ray, "10 Points 10" by Dat G, "TOURIST" by B-Wine and "INTERLUDE" by VSplifff...

In 2018, V# returned to collaborate with Negav in the song "23: 59". Her high, unique and magical voice immediately won the love of the audience. Notably, not only is she good at singing and rapping in Vietnamese, but she is also quite good at conquering music in English when she won first prize in the English Singing Contest Season 7: La Vie En Rose.

After a period of working as a singer, V# decided to switch to rap. In 2021, she appeared in the Conquest round of "Rap Viet" season 2 and impressed with her "cool" hair. As soon as she stepped onto the stage, she made Binz blush and smile brightly. Karik took the opportunity t.o teas.e: "Why do you smile every time you meet a gir.l, Binz?".

Coming to the show, V# used the original song "Nang San Truong" (composed by Luong Bang Quang) combined with the rap part that matches her stage name to create a work of her own. Thanks to that, she was chosen by two coaches, Binz and Rhymastic. The remaining coaches and the judges also highly appreciated her singing and rapping skills.

To recruit contestants to his team, Binz said that V# "has everything to be chosen". Meanwhile, Rhymastic continuously praised her whispering, chip-munk voice, inspired by American rapper Young Thug but also full of "danger". Although the audience still believes that V#'s singing skills are superior to her rapping ability, she still attracts attention thanks to her diversity in performance.

V#'s appearance at "Rap Viet" reminded many people of the name Mai Am Nhac when both rappers chose for themselves a unique look and a strong personality performance. Another coincidence is that the duo both received 2 picks from the coaches and became a topic of interest to many people.

In the Confrontation round, Binz was the "final" team and the lineup of 3 contestants Kellie - D. Kid - V# opened the show. With the theme of folk games, the 3 female rappers took the idea from the jump rope game to create a performance called "Bước Đi Xì Tin". V# impressed with her sex.y appearance and ability to master the stage.

She was praised for her smooth transitions, balancing both her singing and rapping. However, V# and D. Kid's performances were not enough to convince the judges. Both had to enter the 8-bar round to win the final position. However, luck did not smile on the 10x Vung Tau when she had to stop here.

After leaving "Rap Viet" season 2, V# joined the group Under The Hood, working with Minh Lai, Liu Grace, B Wine. She then continued to affirm her talent through songs such as "Thu Ngu", "Wish", "Gummy Bear" and many other hits.

In April 2024, V# officially returned to the music scene with her first EP titled "VThang Is Everythang". This is a project in which she not only demonstrated her composing and performing abilities but also participated in the production stage. The EP includes 4 songs "Cafe Viet", "Dep Tu Dau Toi Chan", "No" and "Cung Thu", each song has a distinct musical color. With this project, she hopes to build her image as a "heroine" in the multiverse as well as affirm her talent and creative thinking beyond all limits.

Until recently, when returning to "Rap Viet 2024", V# made Karik unrecognizable because of the change in appearance from unconventional to feminine. Her musical color is also different from before, receiving positive reviews. After the performance in the Conquest round, 10x Vung Tau joined Karik's team.

In the "Rap Viet" season 4 Confrontation round, with "Xa Vibes", V# and DANMY "burned" the stage with extremely slay and fiery energy. As instructed by the coach, the two female rappers coordinated well and "fought" with all their might like the final night. In addition to their catchy rap voices, the extremely "ho.t" choreography and "tense interface" of the duo also attracted the audience to the performance.

In a "nearly even" competition, DANMY and V# received almost equal votes with 49% and 51%. MC Tran Thanh exclaimed that this was "a very rare thing that could happen on stage, only 2 votes apart". Immediately after that, the whole stage exploded when Coach BigDaddy decisively threw the Golden Hat.

Excited by the "ho.t" performance from the two beautiful female rappers, BigDaddy humorously expressed: "I'm not satisfied with the "young gir.l" thing. I like this performance and I was waiting for it to be longer but it's too short... Whoever continues... whatever, whoever stops, go back to BigTeam".

The result was that the "beauty" was transferred to Big's team, V#, and DANMY won and continued with Karik's team. So from now on, BigDaddy's team no longer has "young ladies"! After that, despite trying his best to show his full potential, the rapper born in 2000 still had to stop at the Breakthrough round because he met a strong opponent, Queen B.
