Investigation results determined: on September 30, 2023, Le Duong signed a Transport Order indicating Hoang Van Tinh driving car number 50F-004.83 on a journey from Ho Chi Minh City - Da Lat city (while Tinh has had his driver's license revoked by Lam Dong Provincial Police since August 5, 2023). When reaching the above mentioned road, the car driven by Tinh caused an accident, resulting in 05 deaths and 03 injuries.

The cause of the accident was because the Thanh Buoi passenger car overtook the left but did not ensure safety. After causing the accident, driver Hoang Van Tinh went to Dinh Quan District Police to present himself and confess all his actions. Driver Tinh declared that his driver's license was revoked for 3 months by Lam Dong Provincial Police for driving a passenger car at speed.

Regarding the case, on November 3, the Department of Transport Inspectorate issued a decision to handle administrative violations in the field of road traffic against Thanh Buoi Company Limited.

With 8 violations, Thanh Buoi bus company was fined a total of 91 million VND and was given an additional fine of having its car transport business license revoked for 3 months, from November 3.

Regarding the accident, at about 2:30 a.m. on September 30, Thanh Buoi passenger bus with license plate number 50F - 004.83 driven by Hoang Van Tinh (37 years old, residing in Thua Thien - Hue) (carrying 32 passengers) was traveling on Highway 20 (carrying 32 passengers).
