Also today, a plywood factory suddenly caught fire at dawn, hundreds of police were mobilized to put out the fire. Authorities quickly evacuated property from the scene.

At around 1:17, Lam Giang industrial wood factory next to Highway 1 (Gia Ngai 1 village, Thach Long commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh) suddenly caught fire. Because the materials in the workshop were mainly plywood, the fire quickly spread, black smoke from the fire spread throughout the area.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Ha Tinh Provincial Police) dispatched 9 fire engines, many other vehicles and 73 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

At the same time, Thach Ha district police also dispatched 3 vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to extinguish the fire and evacuate assets from the factory. At about 2:45 a.m. the same day, the fire was basically controlled.

However, many burned plywood boards had not been removed from the scene, so smoke was still rising. Recorded by Tuoi Tre Online reporter at 7:30 a.m., at the scene, smoke was still covering, dozens of officers and soldiers tried to spray water and use forklifts to take assets out of the factory.

A series of plywood panels burned to ashes; Some cars and machinery in the factory were also destroyed by fire. Because the fire was so large, the factory's corrugated iron roof was inevitably damaged.

According to sources, Lam Giang industrial wood factory is owned by Mr. T.D.PC (36 years old, living in Ha Tinh City). The factory has an area of more than 250m2, assets in the factory are estimated at billions of dong. The cause of the fire is still being investigated and clarified by the authorities.

In Binh Duong, Di An City Police said that the authorities have completed the scene investigation of the accident between a container truck and a motorbike in which two people did not survive.

Initial information, around 6 a.m., a container truck with registration number: 61LD-060.XX driven by Mr. S. (35 years old, from Thanh Hoa) was traveling on My Phuoc - Tan Van road in the direction of National Highway 1K.

When arriving at the intersection, the driver turned right to move the vehicle into warehouse 6 of TBS Company (Binh Thang ward, Di An city), when a collision occurred with a motorbike with registration number: 95F2-44XX driven by Mr. NVM (37 years old) and Mr. PTL (33 years old, from the same Hau Giang hometown) drove each other, running in the same direction.

After the collision, Mr. M. died on the spot, his body trapped under the container wheel, and Mr. L. was taken to the emergency hospital but died soon after. Receiving the news, Di An City Police, Traffic Police Department and Criminal Technical Department of Binh Duong Provincial Police along with relevant professional units were present to examine the scene and investigate the cause of the accident.
