On the afternoon of January 17, at Residential Group 3 (Di Linh town, Di Linh district, Lam Dong province). At about 5:10 p.m., two women were Ms. Duong Thi KC (36 years old) and kindergarten teacher Nguyen Thi KD (32 years old). It is known that both are neighbors living in Residential Group 3, Di Linh town, Ms. C's house is opposite Ms. D's house.

The incident started when the two had a conflict that led to an argument, followed by an increasingly louder argument. Suddenly, right in the middle of a tense argument, teacher D was suddenly doused with gasoline by Ms. C.

Having been doused with gasoline, Ms. D immediately ran home and sprayed water to wash herself. However, just a moment later, this kindergarten teacher continued the fight with the neighbor woman. While the two were arguing and struggling, teacher D was set on fire by Ms. C using a lighter, causing the gasoline fire to burn fiercely. The camera recorded shows that the fire spread throughout his body, causing D to run 20 meters before collapsing.

After the incident happened, nearby people saw and tried to put out the fire and then helped take D to the emergency hospital. Due to severe burns, this preschool teacher was quickly transferred to a high-level hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for emergency treatment.

The incident was reported by residents to the Di Linh District Police Department. Immediately afterwards, the authorities arrived to record the incident and examine the scene; At the same time, work with relevant people to serve the investigation.

The police also summoned and ordered the criminal detention of Duong Thi KC to conduct investigation and handling according to the provisions of law. Currently, Di Linh District Police are completing the case file and transferring it to Lam Dong Provincial Police for investigation and handling according to their authority.

According to the victim's family, teacher D. is currently being treated at the Burn Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City with burns over 80% of her entire body. Teacher D.'s health is in critical condition.

Improper first aid, self-treatment at home or applying folk methods can cause the victim's gasoline burn wound to become infected and cause multiple organ failure.

In the past, there have been many tragic incidents that occurred simply because people who used gasoline to harm others did not really understand how dangerous it was, or even though they understood clearly, they still intentionally caused it. As a result, many people had to die, the perpetrators lived the rest of their lives in prison, and in lighter cases, they were sentenced to many years of sitting behind bars.
