Regarding the case of 'Makeup artist accuse.d of stealing mone.y, body checked', recently, My Tinh An Commune Police (Cho Gao District, Tien Giang Province) invited related people to the headquarters to work.
Initial verification results show that TTN (39 years old) and NTKL (41 years old) (relatives of the groom's family) and ND (year of birth and address unknown) were the ones who directly searched the suitcases of the two makeup artists.
On the morning of November 21, Mr. NNT (47 years old, residing in My Tinh An commune) held a wedding ceremony for his son. The bride hired TTMN and NTNT as makeup artists.
At 10am the same day, the groom's mother discovered that 20 million VND was missing. Relatives of the groom's family, TTN, NTKL and ND, asked two girls who were makeup artists to go into a private room to check the suitcase containing makeup tools, and to search the person, luggage and personal belongings.
To prove their innocence, the two girls also agreed to let their family members search their belongings. It is known that the two girls suggested calling the police to handle the matter, but the family refused because they were having a wedding and did not want to cause a scene. After searching their bodies, luggage, and belongings but not finding any missing mone.y, some of the groom's family members stepped in to apologize to the two girls. However, the two girls did not accept this behavior.
Believing that she was being slandered and her reputation was damaged, TTMN (makeup artist) posted a video clip recording the process of the groom's family searching her luggage and personal belongings on Facebook, and also went to My Tinh An Commune Police to report.
The My Tinh An Commune Police invited two relatives of the groom to come in for questioning. NTKL admitted to searching the belongings of the two makeup artists and asked to check the makeup artist but did not find any mone.y so she left. TTN admitted to checking the suitcase and bag containing the makeup artist's personal belongings and did not find any mone.y. At the time of the incident, the two makeup artists cried and reacted strongly so this person also left.

Therefore, the act of humiliatin.g others can be ruled out. However, the act of forcing the two girls to stay in the room during the search and search shows signs of illegal detention. This act can be prosecuted under the provisions of Article 157 of the 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017.
