Suspicious robbery in a rich family

On the evening of April 9, S.'s family (SN 2008) at the house on Tran Binh Trong Street, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City went to dinner, so S. and 2 helpers stayed at home. When this family left, a young man came to ring the doorbell and said to deliver the bag.

Hearing the doorbell ring, Le Thi Hong (SN 1987, a maid) opened the door, suddenly the young man pushed Hong to rush into the house. Then another young man came in and closed the gate. When they got inside, they both took hammers and knives in their backpacks and threatened to control S. and Hong and Le Thi Du (SN 1950, a maid) tied with a rope. Next, the two put knives on S.'s body and led them upstairs to ask for the password to open the room door.

Here, the two rummaged for a lot of Vietnamese and USD money, put it in their backpacks and went downstairs. After that, the two quickly ran out into the car of their accomplices to escape. The maid with S. informed the family and the police.

Upon receiving the news, the PC02 Division cooperated with the District 5 Police to blockade the scene to examine the scene and take witness statements. The family said that the stolen property was nearly 3 billion VND, including Vietnamese money and USD.

After less than two hours, criminal scouts quickly identified the members responsible for the cheeky robbery. A mission broke into the motel room on Street No. 1 (An Lac A ward, Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh City) to arrest the group involved, recover all the exhibits in the case.

According to Thanh Nien newspaper, through quick investigation, the police found that the robbery took place within 20 minutes, no one in the house resisted, there was no sign of shouting or notifying outsiders.

At the same time, the police discovered that the group of two young men was not alone, but also accompanied by two other people including a woman and a man. "The duties of each member of the bandit group may have been pre-determined from the role of a guard to committing a crime," said an investigative officer.

The expressions of the two maids were very suspicious. In it, Ms. Du testified that she was controlled by a robber, brought to the kitchen to threaten, searched and took away 10 million VND. Both also said that they were tied up and threatened.

The mastermind is the 20-year-old maid

From suspicious points, the functional forces discovered Hong and Du - two maids in the house who played the role of mastermind for the case.

Accordingly, Hong and Mrs. Du were originally domestic helpers for the rich family in Tran Binh Trong Street, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. Every time they return to their hometown, they both tell the story of helping Thao. Knowing this family has a lot of money, the three invited each other to discuss to steal or rob property.

Thao brought this story to her husband, Khanh, Thai, Trung, and Phung invited to join. After that, the whole group agreed and prepared knives, hammers, strings... waiting for the right time to strike.

"Of these two, Ms. Du has worked here for about 20 years" - shared with Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper, a scout said.

While the insiders Hong and Du were still working as domestic helpers, the whole group discussed the plan via Zalo to prepare.

"On Saturday (April 9) Mrs. Du and Hong texted that the owner was going to eat the newspaper and we were preparing a plan to rob," Thai said.

Thai immediately prepared a knife (gold-handled Thai knife) used to threaten, a hammer to break the cabinet and fake paper boxes as gifts. Particularly, Thao called her biological mother in her hometown, and Dung informed her plan to invite her to do the same. Mrs. Dung also invited her husband, Trung, to go to Ho Chi Minh City together to rob.

On the evening of April 9, Thai, Khang, Trung and Thao rode motorbikes and waited outside the house for a signal from Mrs.

At 19:20, Mrs. Du asked to come in, Thai brought a gift box, Khang followed to support. The other two are on guard.

This group staged, robbed about 1.8 billion and 10 thousand USD and then escaped. The phone Khang was afraid of being located, so he removed the sim and threw it away.

The case is currently under investigation.
