Sending a reflection to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the National Assembly Delegation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province stated that recently on the internet, many monks have appeared to preach superstitious sermons, criticizing people's professions and going against Buddhist teachings, causing disgust and anger in the community. This happens frequently and for a long time, but there is no information about any agency working, reminding or handling it.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City sent a dispatch to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs - Ministry of Home Affairs to verify the high school diploma of Mr. Vuong Tan Viet (Venerable Thich Chan Quang).

The Department of Education and Training coordinated with the inspection team to review all records including the list of candidates who graduated from supplementary high school and the list of names and scores of all candidates who took the exam on June 6, 1989. Thereby, confirming the results of the review of the high school graduation exam records of Mr. Vuong Tan Viet, born in 1959, as follows:

Not on the list of candidates and the score sheet of the 1989 high school supplementary graduation exam of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training. Not on the list of high school supplementary graduation certificates awarded on June 6, 1989 of the City Department of Education and Training.

So it is clear that Mr. Vuong Tan Viet does not have a high school diploma. And the question is, why did the school accept him when Vuong Tan Viet applied for a part-time law degree at Hanoi Law University? If Mr. Vuong Tan Viet did submit a high school diploma, why did Hanoi Law University not check and verify whether it was real or fake?

When Mr. Vuong Tan Viet was a PhD student, all documents had to be checked, but they passed through the inspection doors. Why did they pass? Now, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has concluded as above. May I ask what degree did Vuong Tan Viet submit to Hanoi Law University to study for his bachelor's degree and doctorate?

Mr. Vuong Tan Viet completed his doctoral thesis "super fast", defending it with distinction in just two years. Professors and doctors of the University of Law highly praised Vuong Tan Viet's outstanding talent. When it has been verified that he did not have a high school diploma, are Vuong Van Viet's bachelor of law and doctor of law degrees valid?

Hanoi Law University and the Ministry of Education and Training must respond decisively and not delay any longer. The responsibilities of individuals related to Vuong Tan Viet's bachelor's and doctoral degrees must be clarified.
