In the Van Thinh Phat case, Ms. Do Thi Nhan - Head of the Inspectorate was prosecuted for the crime of "abusing position and power while performing official duties".

According to C03, Ms. Nhan and members of the Inspection Team conducted an inspection, but the report to the State Bank's leadership was not true, leading to untimely supervision and control of SCB.

All 4 people were investigated for the crime of "fraudulent appropriation of property".

According to the Ministry of Public Security, the accused and a number of people involved in this case died suddenly during the proceedings.
