In fact, Mr. Le Tung Van and Ms. Cao Thi Cuc voluntarily bought Buddha statues to display in their accommodation. The group of people living here shaved their heads, wore dharma clothes, and claimed to be monks and nuns without asking permission from local authorities and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

For many years, Mr. Le Tung Van and his disciples often filmed clips with content about Buddhism and posted them online. Mr. Van wore a yellow robe (which only the Venerable, Venerable, and Monk could wear), sat on a high pedestal and there were a number of women kneeling below, bowing and lighting incense like Buddha.
