Recently, the Investigation Police Agency of Di An City Police Department has decided to initiate a case to investigate and clarify the wrongdoings of a secondary school teacher. This person also had his certificate of merit immediately revoked.

On the afternoon of October 17, the Investigation Police Agency of Di An City (Binh Duong) initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained V.D.L (31 years old, teacher in charge of the Youth Union of a secondary school in the area) to investigate the act of indecent assault on a person under 16 years old.

According to the investigation, during his time as a teacher in charge of the Youth Union at a secondary school, V.Đ.L repeatedly touched sensitive body parts and did inappropriate things to a female student to satisfy himself. The victim's family added that V.Đ.L repeatedly texted their daughter's personal account to make an appointment to "go to the teacher's room to play", then bought the two of them a meal or took the student out to eat.

Upon discovering the incident, the child's parents took screenshots of the messages and reported them to the police. Notably, after the investigation agency prosecuted Mr. L., the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also revoked the decision to award the certificate of merit.

Previously, on October 10, V.D.L was awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for his outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and the contestant movement in the 2023-2024 school year. At the time of signing the decision, there was no information about the above incident. The decision was also just signed, and the Certificate of Merit has not yet been awarded to groups and individuals in Binh Duong.

On October 11, a post suddenly appeared on social media, believed to be from a parent accusing a male secondary school teacher in Binh Duong of sexually abusing his daughter. Accordingly, the teacher mentioned is named V.D.L, who is working at VTT Secondary School, Di An Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong.

The author of the complaint said that Mr. L. lured female students to sing karaoke and also had unacceptable behavior towards them, including one female student who became pregnant. This person also expressed his anger and wanted the male teacher's wrongdoings to be brought to light.

The specific content of the article is as follows: "With everyone's permission, I would like to denounce the teacher of... for the acts of sexual intercourse, abuse of power, and violation of minors. The depraved acts of this teacher must be brought to light.

I am so upset that this incident was suppressed, causing indelible pain to the students. If this incident is suppressed, I do not want to tolerate a corrupt person like you just because your wife works in the Procuracy!"

Under the article, hundreds of comments appeared, discussing the incident, making it a hot topic, causing a stir across the internet. Most expressed outrage at the male teacher's behavior that was unworthy of being a "ferryman". Many accounts said that this incident happened a long time ago, but only now did someone dare to speak up.

At this time, speaking to the press, the leader of Di An ward said that the locality had a preliminary grasp of the incident. The People's Committee of Di An city also directed the police to quickly investigate and clarify the incident.
