Binh Duong teacher harassment case: Shocking details of 6th grade female student, leaked messages

On October 11, Vietnamese social networks spread information about a harassment incident that took place at Vo Truong Toan Secondary School, Di An Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province. The person who was exposed for this behavior was a teacher at the school, named V.D.L.

According to the poster, Mr. L lured female students to karaoke and then mistreated them, one of whom is now pregnant. The article accusing teacher V.D.L is being widely shared everywhere. Authorities are also investigating and verifying the truth of the story. While there is no official conclusion to the investigation, a lot of information related to this incident has appeared on private groups.

A post accusing a male teacher of misconduct with a female student is attracting public attention and has gone viral across the internet.

Accordingly, some Facebook accounts shared photos of messages, believed to be a conversation with a female student who almost became the "prey" of teacher V.D.L. This female student said that Mr. L often paid attention to pretty, talented female students, then invited them to sing karaoke and harassed them. Some people even revealed that their friend was once invited to the school office by this teacher and showed him sensitive movies.

A Facebook message with the same name as teacher V.D.L was also widely circulated. In it, the man did not hesitate to express to the other person with "creepy" sentences: "I really want to have sex with you", "When did he ever miss the teacher, but the teacher missed N so he kept inviting him"... A Facebooker left the most sensational comment, saying that Mr. L mainly played tricks on 7th and 8th grade students and that a female student had become pregnant.

As soon as the incident was widely reported, the authorities have officially taken action. The above information was shared by the leader of Di An City Police on the morning of October 12. According to this person, the information spread that the student was pregnant with the teacher is completely untrue.

According to the initial investigation, Mr. V.D.L. (teacher at Vo Truong Toan Secondary School, Di An Ward, Di An City) touched some sensitive parts of student D.'s body without any intention of having sex. The above behavior shows signs of harassment against people under 16 years old. "Di An City Police have detained Mr. L. and are taking steps to investigate to have a final conclusion related to the incident," he shared.

Ms. NTL (D's mother) said she was very upset about the teacher's behavior. D reported the whole incident to her family and the police. According to the mother: "The teacher had very sensitive behavior towards my child, not just once but many times. Once, the teacher took D to a motel in Thu Duc City, but the motel owner did not let him in because he saw that she was a student."

This is not the first case of a teacher misbehaving with a student. Previously, on June 8, 2023, information appeared on social media about a teacher working at Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School who acted inappropriately with a female student during class.

Immediately after receiving the above information, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Nha Be District directed Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School to hold a meeting and requested the NMH teacher who had inappropriate behavior to write a clear report of the incident on the morning of June 9.

The principal of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School has suspended teacher NMH from teaching in all classes she is in charge of. At the same time, the leaders of the district's Department of Education and Training and the Board of Directors of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School have contacted and met with parents and students to get more information and apologize to parents and students. Parents have agreed with the school's handling of the incident.
