The results of the injury assessment showed that Lam Anh Dat suffered two broken arms and 24% health damage. On February 20, 2023, Tu Nghia District Police urgently arrested Truong Dinh Nhat to investigate the crime of intentionally causing injury.

By noon on February 23, 2023, after fully consolidating the dossier and receiving approval from the District People's Procuracy, Tu Nghia District Police served the decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the defendant, and execute an arrest warrant. against Truong Dinh Nhat for intentionally causing injury.
