On the afternoon of April 22, the police identified, clarified and requested the woman who had committed the above-mentioned act to come to the police station for questioning. This person's identity is NTY (born in 1967; currently residing in Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi). At the police station, Ms. Y. was always in a state of not being able to control her emotions and was not aware of her actions.
Through working with local authorities, Ms. Yâs family and related people, it was determined that Ms. Y had been showing signs of mental illness for many years; she often cursed and threw dirty objects at households around her house. Currently, the family has not been able to arrange for Ms. Y to seek medical treatment.
The police have made a record of the incident and handed Ms. Y over to her relatives for management and care. At the same time, they advised the local authorities to coordinate with the family to prevent the recurrence of acts that affect security and order.
