If at A50 the Chinese soldiers were hunted for their identities, then at A80 the Russian soldiers were equally welcomed. In particular, the moment soldier Trinh Thi Duyen greeted the Russian soldiers unexpectedly caused a "storm" on the internet.

This moment was recorded by Duyen, posted on social media and quickly attracted nearly 600,000 views and hundreds of comments. It is known that the video was recorded at the second synthesis session for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (A80) held in Hanoi.

Before that, at around 6:00 p.m. the same day, in the Phan Dinh Phung street area - where the parade groups gathered, Trinh Thi Duyen (born in 2001, from Thai Nguyen) accidentally encountered the Russian army group just getting out of the car.

"At that time, I and a few friends on the team ran out to watch, everyone was excited," Duyen shared.

The young female soldier shared that she was really impressed with the outstanding appearance of the Russian soldiers because everyone was very tall and serious, but when they smiled, they were cute and friendly. Duyen even tried to say hello in Russian that she had just learned the night before. Hearing that, the Russian soldiers just smiled back but kept their eyes straight.

Duyen said she was quite surprised when a fleeting situation went viral. She was happy because the simple image gave people a closer look at the soldiers. "Outside of serious training hours, they are still very friendly and lovable," Duyen said.

Currently, Trinh Thi Duyen is a soldier in the Information Female Soldiers' Bloc. She expressed her pride at being part of the parade to celebrate the nation's important holiday. "What's even more special is that September 2 also happens to be my birthday, so the feeling is even more unforgettable," Duyen emotionally shared.

According to the plan, the preliminary rehearsal will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 27, followed by the general rehearsal at 6:30 a.m. on August 30. At exactly 6:30 a.m. on September 2, the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 will officially take place at Ba Dinh Square and several central streets of the capital.

With the participation of tens of thousands of cadres, soldiers, mass forces and international friends, the event not only recreated the heroic pages of history but also demonstrated the will and aspiration of the Vietnamese people to rise up in the new era. This was a grand parade, marking the 80-year milestone of the nation's glorious history.

This is also an opportunity for the entire people and army to affirm the strength of solidarity, mettle and aspiration for development, while sending a message of a peaceful, friendly, integrated and internationally-reaching Vietnam.

Very early on, the Government assigned the Ministry of National Defense to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People's Committee and many agencies and units to organize this important event.

The special feature of this year's parade is the appearance of highly symbolic parade blocks. Leading the way is the Victory Flag block - the flag soaked in the blood of generations of soldiers. Next are blocks of officers and students from military academies and schools, demonstrating the tradition of "loyalty to the country, filial piety to the people" .
