Specifically, the Southern female guerrilla said: "Apologize to my parents for passing the University Valedictorian, then receive a 100% Master's scholarship, then receive an invitation letter from the Italian Consulate General, then leave my parents to study abroad, finish studying and open 2 crowded cafes, then now participate in the A80 parade and parade".
The girl's grace and confident "flex" spirit have turned the clip into a phenomenon, attracting more than 1 million views and hundreds of praise comments: "Really top profile", "There is no point to criticize", "Please see this sister immediately and always"...
The main character causing a fever is Dong An Thu, born in 2000, from Ho Chi Minh City. HCM. Currently, she participates in the Southern Female Guerrilla Block in the A80 mission - a parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
An Thu shared that she was quite surprised when she learned that her parents had quietly printed her photo in her military uniform, framed and hung right at the café she owned. "I'm very emotional. My parents could not go to Hanoi to monitor directly because of their health, but they watched online every day and called to encourage. Maybe she was too proud to print a photo hanging from the shop to show customers that her daughter was able to participate in A80," she said with a smile.
For An Thu, this is a great honor. She said, since watching the A50 ceremony, she was completely fascinated and determined to register for the exam. Thanks to meeting all the conditions, height over 1m65, good health, and clean background, she was lucky to be admitted.
"The day I found out that I passed, my family and friends were very happy. When I go to Hanoi to train, I always tell myself to try to overcome all difficulties to complete the task. This will definitely be one of the most memorable memories of my youth, I can tell my children and grandchildren later (laughs)," An Thu shared.
Talking about the training process for A80, An Thu remembers the moments of "walking in the hearts of the people" in the preliminaries and rehearsals.
"I feel really proud. The cheers echoing everywhere made me emotional, hard to forget. These days, when the official ceremony is about to take place, I am both nervous and excited. The whole team is still practicing hard to bring the most beautiful and well-groomed image to the national audience," she said.
Not only attracting attention with the image of a young female guerrilla, An Thu also impressed many people with her remarkable academic and work achievements.
She graduated as valedictorian of Fashion Design, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in 2022. After that, she won a master's scholarship in the country but chose an associate study abroad program in Italy. This is a short-term exchange course that helps her expand her specialized knowledge and approach European design styles.
Returning to Vietnam, An Thu quickly stabilized her career. In addition to working as a freelance stylist for many artists in showbiz, she also runs two cafes in Ho Chi Minh City. HCM. Despite being busy training for the A80 mission, An Thu still takes advantage of the online to handle work in the evening, in addition to the support of her personal assistant and parents in her hometown.
"I remember when I was a student, I always ran around looking for a café to sit and make a project. So later, when I had a little capital, I decided to open a learning coffee model at a reasonable cost, especially suitable for students. In the future, I hope to open more branches," she revealed.
An Thu's story has spread strongly on social networks not only because of the "top" achievement but also because of the sense of responsibility of a young person to the Fatherland. Temporarily putting aside her own work, leaving her family to focus on the important national parade, shows the seriousness and patriotism of the Gen Z girl.
